Showtime Cards

This is my new go to for collectible cards. The staff is always engaging and friendly. They all have a true love for collectibles whatever it may be. Whether it be sports cards, trading cards or comics they have the best prices. Also the best place to get good value in trades.

Have driven up & down Speedway and never realized that this gem was there. I have visited a few of the shops in Tucson during my visits to the area, but somehow missed this one. Glad, I finally found it. I was greeted as I walked in the door, and had a little banter with the Staff about different forms of heat (dry, wet etc.) while I walked around the store. Plenty of space divided between Sports, Comics and Gaming with tables on one side and mainly sports on the other side. I have many hobbies which include comics & sports so the combination appeals to me. The Comic side (what I was primarily looking at on this visit) was well represented with new stuff, wall stock and my favorite old stuff to include the $1 Bins (the best finds). The young lady working on the comic side was super friendly and informative about what the shop had (pointing me towards the $ Boxes). She also suggested that I could move the boxes over to the tables if needed or take a chair to the boxes. Which was great for this old guy as the back acts up when digging through long boxes. I found some good stuff (comfortably) including one that has eluded me for awhile. I also found a bobblehead head for $5 on the clearance table which combined with my comic finds made for a good day. While checking out the young lady offered individual bags/boards for only 15cents each which was great as I am traveling. She was so awesome, I managed to overlook the fact that she was wearing a Dallas sweatshirt - LOLOverall a great stop for me and I will visit again my next trip to Tucson.

I would highly recommend this place. Very cool people and very good cards. If you like sports cards come here for some fun!!

Great store, friendly staff, excellent selection. Told employee I was looking for some basic Pokémon cards (for my 4 and 9 year olds) and helped me go through the options of what they had to get the best bang for the buck. Kids loved them!

Cool spot to find some treasures. The staff is down to earth and know what they're taking about. Try out the "Chip Chase" if you're feeling lucky! My son loves this place.

George is an awesome guy!!, Bend over backwards to help you out with anything you are looking for and cut you the best deal!!

Some of the nicest people I have ever met! I ended up coming here at 630 and staying for hours. They treat you like a friend the first day you come in. I am not from here and who knows when I will be back but if I lived here I would end up spending an inordinate amount of money just cause this is the place to just hangout. I will be back next time I am here!

In need of a trustworthy card shop that will help you but more importantly cater to kids? You come no further, this business is a 10 star rating. I've been coming here with my kids for years and ofcourse buying myself. Live in Tucson? New to Tucson or just stoping by , this is your place for cards and memorabilia. Ask for George or Max!

Over-priced. Unqualified and ignorant staff. A dishonest, manipulative, and outright sleazy owner. I'm absolutely astonished that this piss-poor excuse for a retail store has somehow been affiliated with Beckett in any official way. Do not support this dreadful institution or the one it shares a name with in Tempe, AZ as, though there is no shared ownership, they admit to working together and the experience is offensively bad at both.Don't visit this store expecting assistance with grading or valuing collectibles.Don't visit this store expecting to be helped in any way while attempting to shop, unless you're friends with an employee.Don't visit this store expecting they will offer competitive, or even reasonable pricing on collectibles.Don't visit this store expecting a clean and organized store.Don't visit this store.

These guys are absolute scumbags. my son had cards we had not only looked up ourself, but took to 2 other card vendor/ dealers well the first two had an appraisal for about 20 cards all together in the 2600.00 range both were within 200.00 of each other. These "guys" were at 200.00 to buy them all I was disgusted by the way they would even degrade a child's hobby but also try and rip of a kid someone who enjoys the same hobby these people do and they try and make its seem like it's a lot of money and tell him he can get this or that with his money. it made me sick so I just left and went to the north side of town to a great and Honest shop and sold the cards for 600.00 below value for his honesty. the young sandlot boys in the front know nothing and I wish it was not like that but it was very unfortunate I encourage everyone to think twice before coming here because you will leave with a low....amazingly low offer that will try and be justified. cheers
