Showcase Flippin It

SUPER happy we wandered this way! What a WONDERFUL shop to find! We've seen their signs on La Cholla, and finally had time to follow them down N. Highway Drive to 4430 (by Wetmore). This place is so well laid out, and there are little rooms that seem to go on forever! There's something unique and unexpected around every turn. Who knew you could find vintage jewelry, classic neon and backlit bar signs, and... wait for it... an excellent condition prairie frontier child's gown that I would guess dates in the late 1800's or early 1900's! The owner has the eye of a museum curator and everything is displayed super appealingly, so budget accordingly, lol.While showing me items I had asked after (carnival glass, vintage games and novelty items, early 1900's furniture), the owner shared that they source their unique offerings through the purchase of entire collections and/or estates so they can keep the pricing really accessible to a casual collector like me. There were also some beautiful art objects including an immaculate condition, 60's? 70's? vintage, very large frame Japanese wall hanging of five running horses, created with inlaid shell and precious stones. The price was just so reasonable, I almost talked myself into taking it home, but my place has so little wall space and absolutely no location to do such an artwork justice. It's a showstopper! I'll bet if I went back this weekend, it's already sold (did I mention the great prices)? I did treat myself to a natural antler-point (likely from Alaska) hand carved/cord hand woven necklace which is absolutely beautiful. It was in exceptional condition and clearly artisan-made, so I definitely scored a deal on that! Whenever I make this kind of new-shop discovery, I'm always conflicted between wanting to keep it a secret so I have the best chance at the greatest deals VS wanting to share it to make sure I can shop here a long time because the business does well and can afford to stick around. In this instance, the owners are so talented at consistently finding the good stuff, I think I'm safe letting the Yelp-savvy know about them. But I call Dibs on the vintage 'Lucky Cat' stuff! I can't wait for my next "discovery run" to Showcase Flippin It (silly shop name, AWESOME shopping)!

The clerk was unprofessional. A dishonorable person. Because of her I will never recommend this store or go there Again.

My son told me about this gem of a place and I'm so glad he did! We had so much fun exploring the different rooms searching for treasures. There's so much to see and the prices are amazing! I found an adorable antique looking table lamp with a super sweet beaded shade for $10. The cord had a barely visible tear in it and the owner, Salvatore, insisted on changing out the entire wire and plug so all was safe and new before taking it home. So kind and generous.My son found two champagne glasses. Belinda must have overheard me mention they were for his girlfriend and, to our surprise, wrapped them up with beautiful cellophane paper and placed them in a gift bag for him.Such a great place to hunt for unique treasures, the customer service, conversation, and prices can't be beat. Go for a visit...you won't be disappointed!

Stumbled on this place today! Great owners and lots of stuff to look at. Great prices as well. The owner let me check out the stuff in his office as well and I got to see a very cool Civil War Sword and an awesome watch. Prices are fantastic so go check them out. My daughter got a pair of Jordan's, wife found to nice LP's and I found a pair of UG Earrings.

They always have a great mix of interesting items and the salespeople are very knowledgeable and friendly.

This place is AMAZING!! Not only do they have awesome stuff but the owner is the nicest person you will ever meet. She is very passionate about what she does and it really shows. If you are looking for some great finds and want to have a blast go visit this store.
