Shooter's Steakhouse and Saloon

I was here mingling with a large Meetup group. I had an Ortega ($14) with chicken instead of beef and sweet potato fries ($2 extra). I loved the chicken sandwich; the fries were good too. The place is fun; there's a bar, a room where you can mingle, a room where you can sit and eat, and a game room. The server did a good job in spite of the size of the crowd.

Went on a Thursday early eve.. had a quesadilla .. was quite generous amount...also like the free popcorn machine.. friend plates looked plentiful.. I'll go back

Thought after a year I would give this place another try yup just what I thought still a complete shit hole . As I literally, waited 35 minutes to get my Buffalo Wings that were dry as this state and furthermore, the presentation of the plate was the worst I have ever seen .Kereoke on a Friday night with a rotation of only 6 people yeah so much fun .....NOT ! The best part i forgot to put funds into my account from saving to checking for my debt card .The extremely rude want to be Ken bartender goes their is a hold on your card as he held my debt card hostage while I delt with my bank .Yes, I paid my tab , gave a 15% tip and wrote will never ever be back due to the terrible service I received. Stay away from this place and go to The Depot on Ft. Lowell their is a reason why they are always crowded and packed with people .

Under staffed, food marginal, the bartender/server/greeter/busier/ Cashier was nice and organized but way over worked and foresee burnout.Redneck feeling to bar hells angels would fit right in.

Shooter's has been owned by the same family for decades and the place has stayed true to its roots for as long as I can remember.When you first visit you can't help but notice the exterior decor isn't exactly what you'd expect for a dive bar & restaurant - it once was a Moroccan restaurant before it was Shooters (long before I ever knew it) and they've kept it the way it was all these years.Inside, they've got all your favorite bar games, strong drinks, and whatever game you want to watch on the TVs. Food is exactly what you'd expect - it's good bar food without trying to be pretentious or fancy.It's a killer spot to grab dinner and drinks before walking the Winterhaven Festival of Lights too!

Loved it until I didn't. Want to hang with loser drunks and get shit for service. Food? Sick! Every time. Then I did the ordering sheet for a cook there: the cheese comes in a can. Starters anyway. The culture from bottom up has drifted from being a safe and happy place thanks to love of Marcy and Rusty. Time to say fair well. Service sucks. The servers have attitude, and the good people moved on or died. One died in their parking lot. Save your soul and avoid this shithole. It used to be cool. Now it is just not.

Had a fantastic experience today! Pool tournament happening, we sat at the tables in the back where we were immediately greeted by a very sweet & attentive waitress. Had fantastic burgers, fries & coleslaw all EXCELLENT!!! The vibe was old-school cool with great music. We sat and told stories & had the BEST time. Maybe we hit it lucky, but will DEFINITELY go back & soon. Even the restrooms were very cool (and clean). Some of the best burgers in Tucson.

Oh where to start. We brought a group of 14 here tonite to have a steak dinner before the party bike. We have brought a group for this for 4 years. The first year was great. I am pretty sure this is the last. I have been here during the year and have had great meals. The first problem was no steak. A pub menu but it had burgers, pulled pork, chicken tenders, shrimp and fish on it. By 6pm they had fish and shrimp. One of our group ordered a burger and never got anything. I got an order of tater tots. Everyone's food came out cold.When we went outside there was a 1 foot long piece of rebar coming out of a piece of curbing where we had to stand to wait. I fell over it. The party bike people covered it with 2 large rocks. After the party bike I went in to speak to someone else and the barmaid Rachel was told I needed to speak to her. I was told she needed to make 2 drinks and she would be over. She walked by me twice and left the bar area. No one would give me the name of the manager or the owner. I would not leave my info because I had no reason to believe I would get a call back. My family was in the restaurant business for 50 years and this is the worst I've ever seen. STAY AWAY.

The good news was the server Rachael was a delight. The French fries were hot. The stuffed poppers were pretty bland. Drinks were ok, one came out made wrong. That is the positive. Party of 10. Restaurant 25% full. The order came out of the kitchen as follows: 3 entrees 5 minute wait one entree, ones and twos for 5-10 minutes The 2 easiest entrees a quesadilla and my wife's grilled cheese came out last. Turns out the kitchen burned first grilled cheese and hurried the second without melting cheese. I have had good lunches and would not return for dinner. The kitchen needs to be fixed. Was not the server. Sorry could not give better review

Staff is always so friendly and nice. Good drinks and fries. My burger was very dry and the pretzels bites were hard . Fun spot to grab a drink but I'd skip the food.
