Shelby's Bistro

Shelby's Bistro has been consistent in offering a delicious and varied menu. The food is outstanding and the service is good when it's not too busy. I have been going there for the past 10 years and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tubac.

Was able to stop by this lovely bistro while at the Tubac Festival of Art. It has indoor and outdoor seating and the weather was perfect to sit out on the patio. The live music playing outside gave it great vibes. I ordered the hot chicken sandwich and the chicken was cooked perfectly. It was so juicy. The sweet potato fries were good as well. I could tell the staff were a little overwhelmed with the number of customers, but overall they did a great job. I will be visiting again!

This place is a unique corner in Tubac, AZ. Great non-franchise restaurant serving pizzas, sandwiches, burgers, and salads. It was slightly hidden and off the main road so map helps find it. The Shelby's burger was tasty, juicy, and just about perfect, accompanied by sweet potato fries. We had lunch in patio area and there was pleasant live music, too. Very friendly service and reaxed ambiance. Overall, I would definitely enjoy another burger traveling around the area next time.

The Mediterranean pizza was not good at all. it was literally "bathing in oil" it felt like the pizza was reheat in a microwave. It is a nice location with a cute, dog-friendly patio, but the food is not worth it.

Good lunch spot-great service since the restaurant was packed & they were short staffed! We ate outdoors under a helpful umbrella. Nice atmosphere but sorta spendy for what you get...but how many times can you eat some great food outdoors in Tubac?

Nancy and I went there today for lunch. We were seated promptly by a window. The waitress took our order and brought out our wine in just a few minutes. The place was clean and orderly. We ordered pizza and it was amazing. Loaded with pepperoni and cheese with a great flavor. Everything was timely and courteous. Nice atmosphere and very friendly. We won't be a stranger here!

Shelbys Bistro is the perfect spot for a light snack while you are in Tubac. We accidentally stumbled upon it and were dying for a shady area during a hot spring late afternoon. Shelby's has a lovely covered patio and also a small restaurant for inside seating. We wanted to people watch so we opted for the outside covered patio which was truly lovely. Service was 5 stars friendly. Everyone was really nice and due to the hot weather they always ensured our ice teas were filled and we were checked up on an appropriate amount of times.The food is a solid 4 stars. Everything was good but nothing stellar. All fine for a casual lunch in this small tourist town. We split a pepperoni pizza and a lunch salad. Both were good and hit the spot. I'd say If your in the area and looking for somewhere to stop that's adorable and quick - this is a good lunch spot to try.

I was going to give this restaurant two stars, but reading the other reviews, I am not alone in my disappointment here. I do not know why so many locals think this is the "go to" place to eat. Been there twice now and each experience was the same: sub-par. Lousy service. Lousy food. No wait person ever came to ask how our order was, or did I get a refill on my iced tea, which I would have much appreciated. Next time I make a date for lunch, I will suggest other places.

Went back again it's our new favorite hangout, food is wonderful and sitting on the patio is so nice

The food is excellent and the service good. It's one of my favorite places to eat in Tubac.
