Sew Perfectly

Updated review: 2 years later and this business is still providing high quality service. I got a dress for Christmas that was too long and had too much fabric. They were able to tailor my dress within a day. I am very happy with the results. They also made other tailoring recommendations that made the dress fit perfectly.

I bought a vintage jacket that needed the buttons reinforced, this was the only Taylor I could find on a Saturday that was open. When I initially called for pricing and to confirm time, I was quoted $20 and they close at 5 o'clock despite the website saying they closed at five. When I got there, I confirmed the pricing again and was told to come back in four days. When I came back, I found the price was actually $25 because they had to add anchors to the back of the buttons. I have a feeling that these people do whatever is necessary to get the job done without consulting price change first, thankfully it was only five dollars extra. The pricing to me was reasonable, even with the extra five dollars. The work seems good, the buttons are secure now. I appreciate them going the extra mile to secure the buttons.

The service was done timely and in a friendly manner. Stress can be high during wedding planning but these folks took a lot off of our plates!

While definitely pricier than other places ($42 to take in jeans vs $22 at another alterations place I took them), they do a GREAT job. I actually brought my jeans here after dishing out $22 at the other spot and getting them back with the back seam crooked and bumpy. Sew Perfectly had to first straighten the seam and smooth out the bumpy fabric, refit me, and then take them in a bit more, so I do understand the higher cost. In the end, they fit great on my waist, the seam on the waistband is hidden behind a belt loop, and there is no more bumpiness. I'm very pleased and will be coming back in the future!

I have taken clothes here multiple times for alterations. They always do an excellent job and do it quickly. I would highly recommend them to people in the Tucson area.

I used to recommend this business, but I see lately they have ruined some other peoples items as well as mine, and refused to take responsibility for it.I was a customer there for many years but not anymore.

I took my Ralph Lauren suit here and they altered the waist and did some hemming. When I got the pants back, there were holes and clear loose threads. I am appalled at the lack of care of my suit and the improper fitting. I have taken plenty of my wardrobe to other tailors and have never had an issue as damaging as this. I do not recommend this place to anyone with clothes of value. I attached a photo of the upper rear of my pants that have been affected.

Went in and had my dickies shirt brought in and shortened and the sleeves done same day. Great price, great customer service and awesome quality work. I will be back.

I have had the good fortune to have all my tailoring done by Lee and the staff at Sew Perfectly for years. I have lived in New York City, San Francisco, Halifax Nova Scotia and Houston Texas and none of those cities has a better tailor. From the first time I went, when a complicated, ill-fitting dress was transformed by them into a spectacularly-fitting wonder, I have brought a stream of jobs to Sew Perfectly and I have always found them to work wonders!
