Seis Kitchen

Not sure why this location would get only 3.6 stars but we had a great experience here. I searched a bunch of good Mexican restaurants before coming to Tucson and Seis Kitchen caught our attention. We happened to stay in Oro Valley so decided to give this location a try.There was a long line and we waited for a good 10 mins before the staff can even take our order at the counter. The bottleneck appeared to be she needs to fill the drinks from the bar for whoever is ordering a drink, which slows the entire process.However, despite this small hiccup, the rest of the experience was AWESOME. We were first served with a basket of hot tortilla chips with two dipping sauce. Our order is 3 tacos (Al pastor, fried fish and grilled shrimp), and a surf and turf burrito. Everything is perfect and I do especially like the fried fish tacos as it is more flavorful and the crispiness complements the shredded cabbage and onions very well. All tacos come up with a choice of side dish and we picked grilled squash. Another great choice. We also ordered churros for dessert and they come up with both caramel and chocolate sauces. Not bad at all but not as good as the fresh ones we had in TJ :p

Food quality is good; fresh ingredients. Surf & Turf burritos are huge w very tasty grilled shrimp however hardly any "turf" steak. Service is excellent. Friendly and efficient service. Nice pet friendly outdoor patio with killah view of Pusch peak and cool music.

I went to the Oro valley location off of Oracle rd. It's not easy to see it's off the road a bit in a nice shopping are. It was recommended to me by local hotel staff. It's supposed to a little more like a bistroThere bathrooms were clean and they also have a nice seating area indoors and outdoor patio area.The service was fast and efficient.It's also about expectations, everyone is under staffed, so I always appreciate the service staff who are working. The parking is easy and plentiful. I'm sure the place can be very busy and parking might be a hassle. That just means it's good. I went twice for a late lunch and a Breakfast and it wasn't that crowded but I'm sure during regular times it would be. I enjoyed their Poc chuc.grilled chicken tacos and the manager/owner and I "talked story " and he made me an original style Margarita on the rocks with great tequila and an orange brandy. The second time I had a breakfast burrito, which was huge.(Tocino)Although I said at the bar both times I could see sitting outside would be fun too.

First time at this location and I think it may be the best out of all 3. The ambiance is great and there's a nice view of the mountains from the patio. The wait for the food was a little long but we weren't in a rush. The table beside us were waiting even longer and asked one of the employees how much longer it would be. I got a surf and turf burrito as a bowl and it was delicious. The portion was generous for the price. The steak was overdone but overall I really enjoyed the dish. Chips and salsa are now included which is nice. They don't do breakfast at this location.

Updating my bad review. Recently I have been back a few times and every time was excellent food, service, and wait time. I'm so glad to see it improved again. Cheers to those responsible!

We've visited a couple times the last couple of months & have nothing but positive experiences. The food - especially the taquitos - are divine! The staff has always been great with our large party monthly reservation & we can't wait to come back!

My wife and I wanted some tacos for dinner, so we decided to try Seis on N Oracle. I'd been to the E River location before for a burrito and margarita that were both pretty good, so we decided to give this location a chance. We made a mistake. My wife ordered the birria tacos, and I ordered the Al pastor tacos. The birria tacos my wife got weren't even what I'd call birria. They were really just shredded beef tacos with no noticeable birria sauce and no sauce on the side for dipping, plus the beef was too dry - and who puts guacamole inside a birria taco? No!My pastor tacos weren't much better. More pineapple than meat, and the meat wasn't as tender as I'd hoped. Plus, the tortillas used for both weren't very good quality and started falling apart easily. We also each got a Seis margarita, but they were pretty small, and we couldn't even taste any tequila. Our whole experience was underwhelming and disappointing. I doubt we'll ever be back.

Large portions of decent food at a reasonable price. We two had dinner.FOOD: 3.5.- El Capitan (with black beans) burrito- Poc Chuc Chicken (with black beans) burritoSERVICE: 4.0. Friendly and timely.AMBIANCE: 3.0

Service was fast, we sat at the bar and were instantly welcomed!! We got 3 tacos- Al pastor (my favorite), birria, and poc chuc grilled chicken and WOW! The tortilla was so thin and freshly made and ingredients were also very fresh. Loved the churros as well with the chocolate sauce! I want to come back and try all the other flavors!!!

Surf and turf tacos were tasty, bit surf and turf burrito was bland and unremarkable. Floor was a bit dirty and ordering was a bit difficult because the menus were not at the start of the line. We had to wait through the entire line to see the menu at the ordering counter. There's a scan and order option signage, but no place to scan.
