Santa Theresa Tile Works

I am absolutely obsessed with Santa Theresa Tile Works! This is a twist on your normal like paint your own pottery, except you get the chance to create your own mosaic piece of art. They have an extremely wide selection of mosaic titles and frames you can choose from and then combine to build your own mosaic piece. The woman helping us was super friendly and knowledgeable, yet not pushy or overbearing at all. Prices were reasonable considering the wonderful piece of artwork you get to take home after the fact! Once you are done building your mosaic, you pick from a selection of grout colors and then leave it with them for a few days so they can set and grout your mosaic. Added bonus, which I absolutely loved, is that all of their proceeds go to a free local private school for low income families. Overall the experience was a 12/10. I would HIGHLY recommend this if you are looking for a unique arts and crafts activity to do with family, friends or coworkers even!

What a treasure this tile shop is! The staff greets you warmly and my artisan friends received a great tour. I on the other hand was able to complete 3 snazzy mosaics by picking from a huge selection of hand made tiles. Christmas gifts done already! It's fun and even with little or no artistic ability look what I got done! Thank you Santa Theresa!!

While checking out other tile stores in the 4th Ave. area, we found Santa Theresa Tile Works almost by accident. This great shop has the most amazing little hand cut tiles for custom mosaic projects. We were so taken by them that we spent at least an hour creating two 4"x4" mosaics, using a metal frame with a hook at the bottom, suitable for putting on the wall and hanging small objects from it. They have workshops too, which look like they'd be a lot of fun.This place is simply awesome. It's a terrific concept, perfectly executed.

Santa Theresa is a one-of-a-kind Tucson icon. Their tiles are beautiful, unique, and affordable. And even better -- they offer classes and workshops that allow you to create your own mosaic designs while benefiting from the expertise of their in-house clay tile artisans. Stop by their show room to check out their offerings, but if you have the opportunity - definitely take a class or workshop. They are so worth it.

I went here one afternoon, as a walk-in. I had decided to head in after ordering online and being extremely happy with my unique tiles! I read there were opportunities to take classes for mosaics , but I wanted to see what they had to offer in shop. I had the most wonderful time in the show room! There was ample room to do a project by yourself and or with someone else. I enjoyed every moment! I would highly recommend going into the showroom to create, if you aren't able to attend a class and or just want the alone time! The amount of tile to pick from and art pieces is incredible, so many unique tiles! The staff (Keiyla specifically) was great and so helpful while I was creating! I look forward to going back to create more and attend a class. For an Extra $40 I decided to have them complete my grout in shop, to make sure it looked extra professional for a gift to my husband! Loved it and can't wait to return!

I was reading the tourist info magazine in the hotel and saw an ad for Santa Teresa Tile Works. I am so happy I did. My three kids (16,15 and 4) went by just to look and ended up creating a fun mosaic piece that commemorated our trip. The staff was incredible and the workspace was so beautiful and full of ideas. The handmade tiles are just gorgeous and fun from the smallest dots to the larger pieces. We will definitely be making a stop there on the next trip. My only "compliant" they are too far away for me to play and create as much as I would like :). Oh wait they have mail order!
