Sakari Sushi

Haven't tried AYCE sushi for a Ling time, the last time i tried that was in Vegas! This's a small local sushi shop that running by non Japanese sushi chefs operation. Since the pricing was fair enough, so I tried AYCE, foods were ok enough but wish them to provide less rices coming with sushi... And also AYCE menu provided very limited selections... and qualities of foods weren't too impressive... Maybe the al la carte menu selections are better, but qualities of rice might be the same.... Services were good enough just the foods were too impressive for sushi lovers? I would say AYCE foods for customers that really feel hungry, it's a good choice... The place is very clean and organized... that provides more seating than typical sushi shops...

My spouse picked up food to go and said the cashier was very nice and friendly. The rainbow roll was really really good, fish tasted very fresh. The spicy tuna and gyoza were pretty good as well. Spouse enjoyed the salmon. Some of the negative reviews are ridiculous and aren't referring to the food or even service. Give this place a chance and you'll probably be very happy.

Another Tucson Sushi establishment. This one had mixed results. The service was friendly and fast. The food was hit and miss. We started with shrimp tempura because they were out of veggie. The shrimp was crispy and fresh. The miso soup was devoid of ingredients. The fresh rolls had quality fish, but the spicy crab was watery and bland. The spicy tuna was some of the best I had because it had no sign of mayo. The bug disappointment was the fried rolls. We ordered two and couldn't tell the difference between them because they were hammered. Overcooked to the point the contents were well done to the point of being dry and the norm made chewy. The price, however, was really good for this day and age. I may give them another chance when I'm in the area.

More like 3.5 stars. The place was pretty busy and the service was pretty good. Low key sushi place. Definitely not the best sushi in town, but the price is good and there's plenty of it as it's ~$27 for AYCE. The ambiance is strip mall/mom & pop vibe.

I love the all you can eat. Fish is fresh, rice is cooked perfectly. Always great service. Perfect neighborhood spot!

AYCE sushi option that is way better than you'd expect for AYCE sushi in Tucson. I have been a few times and the staff is always so gracious. We usually get seated very quickly and the rolls come out soon after you order them. Sakari is a very relaxed sushi restaurant and it makes it a great environment to casually try many of their specialty rolls. Nigiri is also included in their all-you-can-eat menu so you can get a lot of bang for your buck.

We have become regulars here and truly we enjoy the atmosphere the energy and above all the service is absolutely outstanding ! JENN is an AMAZING server! I love her attitude and her positivity as a server. She's so sweet and remembers our order all the time. The environment is so clean and beautiful, very relaxing and up lifting when you come hereThe food is delicious and this place deserves 10 stars !

This is the second ever AYCE sushi restaurant I've been to in Tucson and while I admit that the food itself was decent and ambiance was inviting, certain factors could not be overlooked. I came here with 3 other friends and all in all we ended up staying for roughly 3 hours. I wish I could say it was because we were having such a good time but the reality was the food service was INCREDIBLY slow. For the first round of sushi alone we ended up waiting roughly an hour and a half as plates were slow to come out and we were served wrong orders. Another grievance I had with the restaurant was that there was a limit to the amount of nigiri you could order which I have not seen at any other AYCE sushi restaurant in or out of Tucson. There was also a limit on the number of certain rolls you can order such as rainbow rolls which I thought was odd but I was willing to overlook so long as the other rolls were serviceable, which admittedly they were but again the service was just unforgivable for price point. All in all: I do not believe I will be returning to this spot as I simply don't have the time or money to be spending for meals like this.

I really liked Sakari when I first started going here, but the last few times I've been, the wait time is just too long. 35 minutes to an hour wait just to get your food after ordering, I mean that's just ridiculous. I understand being busy, but it's not right to keep serving the same people and table who ordered AYCE even after they've had a few rounds already and keep the other tables starving and waiting when they ordered before the second, third, or fourth helping of the only table they seem to be serving. They need to find a better system as this is simply not working. I feel bad recommending this place to people when the restaurant can't really keep up with the demand. Truthfully and personally, I don't think I'm gonna come back here until they get their act together and I probably will stop recommending this place too, unfortunately...

I ordered a Vegetable Roll, a California Roll & Miso Soup to go. It was my first time here and the food was great and the service was excellent/super polite. It's a chill little spot with a great vibe to it. I will definitely be back(:
