The absolute worst customer service experience I've ever had, which could have been completely avoided by patience and pleasantries. Prior to writing this review, I was giving this business the benefit of supporting locally but after more than one negative experience, I feel that I must share this with our community. Recently, my employer purchased an award from Sahuaro Trophy for years of service. At the presentation ceremony, as the plaque was being handed to the recipient, the front plate fell off, hit the floor, and was damaged. It was embarrassing to say the least, but only for the company that created the plaque because many of the attendees were asking who made it. We did tell them it was Sahuaro Trophy. As a manager in the company, I decided to leave work early to bring the trophy back for a replacement. I arrived at 4:50pm and as I walked through the door, a gentleman named Ed greeted me with a smile and a welcome. He was great. Unfortunately, this level of warmth was not expressed by all employees. As I explained to Ed what brought me into the store an employee named "Jen" was visibly annoyed that I had arrived at the store 10 minutes before closing and made me feel very unwelcomed. She sighed loudly, glared at me, and was dismissive when Ed called her by name to ask her a question related to their work. She even presumptuously misunderstood the question he posed, thinking I was asking for them to stay open later to complete the replacement.Ed told me that the whole plate would have to be replaced and stated that it would be reprinted and cut. I then asked if I could add some additional text to make the wording flow better to fully appreciate the service our employee had provided. He asked me to provide the verbiage in an email, which I did. I left the shop that day with an uneasy feeling of half accomplishment and half questioning "if it were my personal money, based on the quality and service, would I patronize this business"? I decided to wait for the outcome of the replacement to make up my mind. Ed and I traded a few texts and emails about the plaque changes to get it to completion. All went well. They ended up adding more words and changing the orientation from portrait to landscape. All of which were in the bounds of their computer printing program. Once I approved the final draft via email, I was never contacted to let me know that it was complete or when I could pick it up. I had to guess as to what an acceptable pickup date would be and take my chances. I asked another manager in our company to pick up the plaque with me on the telephone just in case they needed verification. My coworker walked to the counter and stated they were there to pick up a plaque that had to be remade for my company. Jen seemed confused at the request, but the plaque was on a shelf next to the counter where the public could access it so, they picked it up and sat it on the counter.Jen then stated the charge would be $20. I asked my coworker to put me on speaker as I wanted to better understand what the $20 was for. Jen then stated that the materials and the work associated with the remaking the plaque cost $20. I asked what materials as nothing was added to the size and shape of the item and some of the previous materials couldn't be reused as they were damaged because of the plaque coming apart. This was a Sahuaro Trophy fault, not the customer. I then asked if the $20 was for the extra words on the plaque or for switching the orientation from portrait to landscape? She stated that the original cost of the plaque was $40 and $20 isn't bad. She made it seem like we weren't happy with the original and asked for it to be redone. She took zero responsibility that the plaque was poorly crafted and was the reason that it needed to be redone. She had a vague explanation with an attitude that was apparent even over the phone. She asked if I wanted to speak to Ed and I asked her if I needed to? My coworker then went to pay with the company credit card and Jen sighed and stated if we didn't have cash, she would charge $21 dollars instead of $20 for running the card. The credit charge is stated on the receipt but why have an attitude about how a customer chooses to pay? My coworker fished out $20 and just wanted the negative interaction to be done, sharing with me after that Jen was making eye roll and exasperated head movements while interacting on the phone, making it apparent she felt the $20 was cheap and we should be grateful. If the plaque had to be remade anyway and all that was changed was the adding of words and the direction of a computer image, was that worth half the cost of the total plaque?Looking at the negative reviews in Yelp and Google dating back to 2015, they all center on a female employee that is rude, unprofessional, and condescending. This could have been solved by them fixing the issue and apologizing for the inconvenience, yet they not only made the issue worse, and profited by $20.

I'm in town for military training and had to create a plaque for our class. I went to Sahuaro Trophy and explained my vision, they helped me create the perfect plaque. Our class loved it. They were quick with their work and did and amazing job.

Rude, sneering, and unhelpful. I went in person to ask about engraving on a travel bad. The woman behind the counter just grunted and shook her head. Maybe English is not her first language but somehow I doubt that. As I don't speak gruntees I turned my back on her and walked out.So much for helping local businesses.

They have everything you need from plaques, trophies and even unique gifts. They can do any custom job you can think up. I come here everytime I need a plaque or trophy. The quality is excellent and my items are ready to pick up within a few days. A bonus for me is this is a locally owned and operated business that really supports the Tucson community.

Sahuaro Trophy has been doing our BBQ Competition as well as our Fantasy Football Trophies for the past few years and it has always been a pleasure working with them. They treat each customer like it's their only one and they give you the attention and detail that you require.I run the BBQ Club here in AZ and we look for quality in our trophies and relationship with our vendors and Don and his crew over at Sahuaro Trophy are some of the best. I certainly recommend them for any trophies you may need, they will take care of you and make you look like a Hero.

They don't like to talk on the phone. I tried to explain what I wanted and they basically told me to shut up and send an email. I did and they got back to me fairly quickly; that's why they're getting two stars. But my needs were a little unusual, but certainly not beyond their capabilities, so I called back and had to fight to keep them on the phone. Finally, they said they would call me back in a bit but never did.I called Tuller Trophy and they came through for me with flying colors.

I have used them for the past few years for our Annual Staff Awards and they are awesome. Even two years ago when I forgot about the trophies until last minutes - they still rushed to complete it by my deadline and never charged me a rush fee. They're quick to respond to emails and have great prices.

I was so very unhappy with Sahuaro Trophy. I don't even know where to start. The owners (Jones Family) and their daughter Jennifer Dillon are the most unprofessional people I have ever met. I walked into there store with my two children (I was wearing a Support Hillary 2016 shirt) to purchase trophies for my sons soccer team. The daughter Jennifer looked at me from head to toe ,rolled her eye's and then started speaking to her mother (the owner Mrs. Jones) and said can you help these "Mexicans". I could not believe my ear. I was so upset the mother (Mrs. Jones) just looked at my shirt and not my face. I asked for prices on trophies and these "owners" acted as if I was not even there. Like I said this place is the most unprofessional, unfriendly, mean people I have ever met. I will not be returning to this store. I do not recommend this trophy store to anyone. I don't know how these people have been in business this long. It is so sad my children had to see these people treat me this way.
