This store has a vibrant problem of running out of product (especially things thst are on sale) not sure he they ta k there items but it would be nice to actually be able to get all the items that are in my list and not be always yoke we ran out today, cone back tomorrow, only to. R told the same thing the next day. As previous reviews state, check out lines are terrible here. Expect to be in line for a while. I stopped going to this store as often as I'd used t or would go because of them running out of items.

This Safeway has been hit hard by Covid and broken supply chains. It continues to suffer. The store continues to be out of many items. Yesterday was the worst experience here to date. One checkout lane was open and about 20 carts were lined up like wagons around a campfire (the photo is taken from my point of view). I was waiting over 20 minutes to checkout. The self-serve kiosk was open, but not all the stations were working. A lot of people were very upset. This is not an isolated occurrence. I get that Covid has impacted everyone at every level, but we're nearly 3 years on and Safeway (at least on the West side of Tucson) has not recovered.

This store is amazing. I stopped going to Walmart a year ago because they treat the employees like crap, they are underpaid, and most don't have health insurance. Yes....it is CHEAP......but at what cost. So I needed another store. The difference in the customer service alone is worth it GREAT floral section, amazing fresh fruit section, and the baked and organic breads are so good, With the app on your phone, when you go into the store in registers what you usually buy, and you get great deals on that. Sometimes it gets you out of your comfort zone with things that are new. I love it.

I understand things are tough right now inside of a grocery store, I completely understand they are super busy and overwhelmed, this being said, it is not a pass for for horrible customer service, mistakes happen how you handle them is what matters, the drive up and go is designed for very little customer contact, I picked up my order at 3:53 to discover it was the wrong order, the process on which I encountered blew my mind, it was bad enough the young lady Running it was horrible and acted like a spoiled brat with no Sense of customer service , it's the manager Angel who surprised me, long story short after three attempts i finally received my order, after the grocers thrown in my car , tomatoes smashed, I was able to leave at 5:45, hands down worst service I have ever received anywhere! Do yourself and favor , go some where else, anywhere besides this establishment! One star is far to generous!

I just moved here and this is my closest store. I shopped and included sale items. I explained that I don't have a card because I just moved here. I was told that they don't give out rewards cards anymore and I need to register online and charged me full price on everything. And, when I got home I noticed an expired date on my packaged salad. I really don't think they want my business anyways so I am out.

Safeway has an ongoing problem with not storing their foods properly I complained plenty of times especially with the vegan meats. Watch out and look at what you are purchasing when coming to this Safeway. Service is okay. It's always crowded because no one wants to work registers.

The Pharmacy is terrible. The pharmacist is of no help. I honestly believe they have forgotten about the oath they took as a pharmacist to assist humanity. They sit as dictators and make it difficult to obtain medicine prescribed by a doctor. Don't go there for your meds. They have the most terrible customer service. They have no empathy or compaction for their customers who need medication.

It's nice when you walk into a store and you have a question and one of the managers you're talking to really doesn't seem to care and just kind of walks away I understand now why this place has such a low rating pretty sad

Karen D was the rudest cashier ever. She doesn't look at you or acknowledge you even exist. The person in front of me asked her a question and she completely ignored her. Then when I went to check out she took her sweet time writing something on a piece of paper before checking me out. I only had one item by the way. Slow as molasses. If you hate your job that much go work somewhere else! In her case so where where she doesn't have to ever deal with another human being.
