Safeway Pharmacy

Horrible service by an incompetent staff. They'll short you on your prescription and not even apologize. I'd give them a zero if I could. They often don't have in stock what you need and will not have your prescription ready four days later. So you'll have to wait while they take an hour to fill it. Go to Walgreens, one pharmacist there told me when they didn't have what I needed. How they stay in business must have to do with all they old people they've screwed one way or another!

I've been going to this store for 15 yrs & I've always found the staff to be helpful & courteous. The donuts, bagels & rolls are much better here than @ other super mkts in this area. Their beer, wine & liquor products are more than adequate.

This is without a doubt the best pharmacy in the area. Even though they are very busy the pharmacist is willing to answer my questions or help me with picking out medicine from the shelves in front of the pharmacy. It would help if there was a drive thru but during covid I called ahead and they would bring my prescriptions out to my car!

I needed to return a couple of items for a refund, I was assisted by a woman who acted like the refund was coming out of her paycheck. Her demeanor was incredibly rude & made me feel uncomfortable with my transaction. I shop at this store consistently & the cashiers, produce & butcher employees are always helpful & courteous! I was surprised that I was treated with such disdain by this woman!

I waited until I cooled off before I wrote this. This Safeway is a clone of the one on Green Valley when it comes to customer service. The people of this community have had crap service for so long that they just accept it as normal. These two grocery stores are tragically pathetic in every conceivable way. First they're super expensive. They're dirty as hell. ALL of the employees are rude and in my opinion just plain old stupid. There are so many things wrong that it is nearly impossible to list them all. The one and only reason they stay in business is because there are few easily accessible alternatives. Today I stood in line to check out for 23 minutes. That's too long. When I called James Martinez the manager about this lengthy wait all I got was a shovel of lip service. Honest, these two paces are just a horror show. I am usually critical because I am trying to alert others about places that are bad value or bad something, which in GV AZ is dang near everything. It's a captive audience so the business' just do a lousy job because they know they can get away with it. Safeway - it sucks bad, in every category.
