I wish a physical examination had been done of my pet in addition to the observation and listening. I liked the staff and the nutritional advice but after x-rays, meds, diet change and a month waiting for improvement, I ended up going to an Emergency Only Vet for a 2nd opinion. I'll go to the latter again first.

The vet and staff here are fantastic!!! We had been going here and then my dog got sick (probably food poisoning). The staff got back to me right away and the vet called me, and was incredibly helpful. I'm so impressed with how they handled it with so much care.

After taking in a stray, we quickly began to suspect she was pregnant - all the vets in town were booked out for over a month, but after explaining the situation, Rosemont got us in as a walk-in! Dr Restey has been an absolute delight to work with and made us feel right at home. The clinic has even helped to guide us through the process after she had her puppies. I would recommend them to anyone!

Before making an appointment, be sure you are ready to wait for your turn, as Dr. Restey gives each patient the time they need. Not being aware of this policy, this morning, my dog and I waited 40 minutes to see him. When he walked in the room, I looked at my watch, and he yelled at me, saying he takes no advice on time from clients, and if I didn't like that I could leave, which I did. Had I known about the scheduling policy, I would have not made an appointment.

My dog had a growth on her paw that split and was bleeding. We made an appointment at Rosemont Pet Clinic because our regular vet usually schedules far out and we wanted her seen right away. We were happy that they were able to schedule a same day appointment. We arrived and they brought us into the room. The vet came in and we did not feel that he listened to us about our concerns about her open wound. He started to lecture us on her diet and recommending me to boil cabbage for her and put her on a very pricey Chinese supplement. Then after us pressing him again about the open wound he said he would recommend for them to take cells and send them out to get processed. He then left the room. The prices came to us, $300 to get the cells tested and $80 for the supplement. We still had questions about what the next steps would look like depending on what the tests said. The tech called him back in. When we asked for clarification he became very stern, pretentious, and arrogant and said "I have been doing this for many years and if you just let me speak I am sure I will answer all your questions." Even though he had already left once the room and asked for payment without answering out initial questions. They took our dog into the back room and brought her back after "taking the cells". Her wound looked worse and was now actively bleeding. They did not take the time to wrap it or anything. They proceeded to charge us $320 for the visit and send us home with a now bleeding dog. Two days later I got a call letting me know the tests were "inconclusive" and they recommend us getting the growth removed (which was our initial question). We decided to give her at home treatment of Neosporin and wrapping and her wound has healed on its own. Please be cautious and trust your gut here, if you think its a money grab walk out and go elsewhere. I wish I would have.

Dr. RESTY and DR. SCOTT are a great tag team of holistic naturalistic approach and tradional medicine that are able to offer a complete approach to pet care. I have been happy so far, with 3 cats ," Mousie stayed and active despite kidney AND thyroid diseases, fir 4 more years to age 20! Tommy Boy, a Siamese with cancer lived an extra year to age 15 . And Howie, orange tabby with bile duct obstruction, affecting the liver, about to have surgery! dr. restey is an arrogant asshole! and he botched a treatment that my whippet girl needed - just moved from ca and he was one of the few vets who said they could do treatment.long story short: do not take your dog to this vet. he botched the procedure and i had to euthanize my wonderful girl. i had already called my regular vet in california when she had a bad reaction to his treatment and they were able to explain in medical terms what may have happened. his "medical" term was that something "sinister" was happening to her.wtf - idiot stupid can't even explain in medical terms obviously has no idea what he is doing.

we moved to Tucson at the beginning of the summer last year, and needed to find a new vet for our 2 Boxers. I was dreading having to find one, our experiences with all the Vets we've had in the last 10 years had been just okay. Dr. Restey and his staff quite literally put every very we've been to to shame. He is the BEST Vet we have ever seen, hands down. He's thorough, compassionate, easy going, and a phenomenal communicator. My dogs love him and his staff, and he takes the time to personally contact you with follow up information if it's needed- he is really just truly passionate about what he does and it shows!
