Rosa's Mexican Food Restaurant

This small hole in the wall Mexican restaurant serves some pretty decent fare. Their chips and salsa stand out as being excellent. The rest of the menu items are the typical Mexican fare and are all solid choices. O especially enjoyed the Chile Relleno dish. Our sever was friendly and the food arrived quickly. The ambience is typical for a Mexican restaurant. The prices tend to be slightly high by a couple of dollars per entree. If you are price sensitive, this may not be the place for you.

I was seated fairly quickly but they took awhile to take my order and then I waited and waited and waited. Another woman came in long after me and ordered quickly and was quickly served. I saw that she ordered the exact same thing that I ordered. I went to the back to inquire and the woman told me she would make mine to go! I stormed out. Discriminatory practices at this restaurant--be forewarned.

Came on a Friday afternoon and the place was a lil busy. I sat in front of the kitchen. Service was friendly and everyone checked on me. Food came out quickly and was delicious! Perfect portion size. Just remember when you're ready to pay - pay at front. Sometimes I forget at some places that you take the ticket with you to the cashier register. Other than that everything was amazing - thank you

Love the food every time we go! The plates come out very hot and right out of the oven! Quality and quantity of food is amazing. Made a reservation and the table was ready right away. Some kids in our group made some drawings for the staff and they hung it on the wall to show it off! Always love coming here.

I've been going to Rosa's off and on for the last 15 years every time we leave, we get a quart of salsa to go. To be honest the food is just so so but the salsa is fantastic and a little higher priced than normal but today I go in to get a quart of salsa and like a Coke to go, and the guy looks at me and said a quart of salsa is $30. That's highway robbery!!. Is this stuff made of gold? I asked why he said he didn't know and shrugged his shoulders like I said I've been going there for 15 years so I know he's related to the owners if not, one of the owners. Just blatant overcharging.

Still love the green corn tamales but prices have crept up higher and higher. Last visit we paid $8.00 for a beer! Not that good. Out of comfort zone for Mexican food.

I used to live in tucson and every time I make it back to town I have to stop in this heart warming spot. In the end of a strip mall it's brightly decorated inside and service is always friendly. The salsa has a medium level of spiciness and a ton of garlic. The beans are to die for so do not neglect getting those!

Great food. Fun environment. Awesome people who own the place. Will come back again. Easy in. Big menu. All spice levels. Tamales and tacos were amazing.

This is the best Mexican restaurant we ate at, based on a recommendation from the owner of Settlers West Gallery, in Tucson. What an experience! To put this place in perspective, we probably ate at 20 Mexican restaurants on our way across the country, and zigzagging our way up and down New Mexico, Arizona, Utah and Colorado. Rosa's is simply the freshest, most flavorful, authentic Mexican, we found. Outstanding food, and not that pricey. You will definitely not be disappointed!

Have been going here for 20 years. The food is still good but has doubled in price since the pandemic. Love the garlicky salsa.
