Tucked away in the northern area of Tucson we found this beautiful memorial labyrinth. With benches, natural resources and regular care it's the perfect place for some tranquil meditation and contemplation. The drone footage was definitely necessary to capture the true size of this stunning landmark. There is a trail entrance on Cactus Blvd. with plenty of off street parking if the labyrinth is your destination.Although we didn't walk the entire trail, it's the perfect leisurely path for groups as they are wide and even. There's plenty to see from natural plants, critters and education. It's very well maintained and clean with benches to relax on and shade to cool off in.

What a very peaceful, beautiful park. Came with friends to walk the labyrinth. The surrounding area is so beautiful. It's hard to believe it's in the center of the city. If you just want a place to come and meditate, walk on the labyrinth, trail or sit on a bench and enjoy the Mountain View, this is a beautiful preserved peaceful park almost in the center of Tucson. I am unsure of the history of this place but labyrinth are a spiritual experience just to come and meditate as you walk around the earth to the center to find answers to questions you might be in life. Come and experience for yourself.

I have to admit, but parks weren't really on my radar until I had a baby. This one went way under the radar until a fellow friend and mom pointed me to it. My 20 month old loves the playground area, especially the sand as well as the large lawn, even though we have to share it with dogs that are off leash. I have found this park to be pretty clean and dog owners are fairly responsive, which is important since dogs are off leash. There are horse stables adjacent to the park, which makes for a fun "horse watching" experience for our little one. Parking is plentiful or you can also access the park via the Loop.

What a wonderful hiking spot. Plenty of shade, wide trails and cool exhibits . Come early, parking lot is real small. It's worth the drive to check out this spot.

Great park for kids, dogs, picnics, or access to the Loop.Rio Vista park sits at the north end of Tucson Bvld where it hits our dry river, the Rillito, not far from Valley of the Moon. It's got an expansive grass area, great playground equipment, shaded picnic tables, and -unique for a place so close to town- a sizable patch of wild desert. It's a fun place for doggie meet ups on the grass at dusk, but watch your little critters- a large pack of coyotes lives nearby and isn't afraid to bring a chorus of yips to the sunset show. The park is also a nice place to park and run or stroll the Loop trail and there are bathrooms (that I've seen be quite decently clean). There are a few lengths of the Loop to the east toward the racquet club that have paved as well as dirt pathways. The sunsets viewed from Rio Vista are always top-notch and you've got a clear view of the Catalina Mtns, too. Bonus if you're lucky: you'll see some horses plod their way back to the ranches south of the park.

This is the perfect picnic park. It is conveniently located in midtown off the riverwalk, walking distance to a Trader Joe's. There is plenty of playground for hours of kid entertainment and lots of grass for all. There are horse stables adjacent to the park and several ramadas. When the weather is nice, this is where I venture.

A beautiful place to roam around in the natural environment, smack dab in the middle of town. I visited during the 2021 summer rains, and the wildflowers were magnificent. Great birding, and if you slow down and look in the underbrush, lots of small creatures - saw a baby toad and tons of dragonflies. The stone labyrinth was a surprise treat as well, with benches that allow for relaxing and contemplation in this peaceful environment.

This was really hard to find in the park. Try looking on google maps on the right side and back of the park. It took us an hour to find the labyrinth .Went there to walk the labyrinth and my daughter said we had to do it bare foot to achieve peace. I think my feet are bleeding but we did it.
