Initially I liked this market. There was good ceveche and nice looking meats. But then, There were the same crafts you see everywhere in the barn. And half were not open. Soaps, beads, mexican pottery, etc. No produce as someone else said. Not sure whats going on here, there is no diversity. Everything was just plain. Nothing interesting or outstanding. And lastly, I went here during covid19. Most vendors were masked but the shoppers..mixed. One couple no mask and armed. Seriously? Its a farmers market in the middle of the desert, not downtown Detroit! (No offense Detroit)No need to revisit.

What a fun place! We had a pleasant drive with mountain views and beautiful homes, and near Saguaro National Park. There are several vendors inside and outside carrying home decor, art, jewelry, food and pet items, and natural items such as soaps and salves, and much more. There were ponies and goats for the kids to see. In addition, you could listen to music and have breakfast or an early lunch. I also saw a diner down the read. Definitely, a great morning trip with family or friends. Can't wait to come back!

I discovered this market when I lived in Vail a few years back but always forget about it since I'm never on this side of town. I ended up driving down Old Spanish yesterday and I was so happy to have seen it up and going that I decided to stop and look at all of these local artists again. I do really enjoy this market and the people have been very helpful and nice. I love that food is all focused on one side of the building and art is focused in the middle and to the right of the building. It help breaks it up so you can wander and know what you might find. The stands that were at yesterday's market were different than the ones I've seen before and that's really exciting because you don't want to see the same items without adding new ones or if feels repetitive. If you're ever looking for a metal sculpture, handmade jewelry or purses, or even dog treats I recommend checking this place out. P.S Yes, you can take your dog here. Just make sure it's not too hot on the ground.

UPDATE: Scam Alert!!! Turns out Jeff Scott Farms IS NOT an organic farmer. He wouldn't even allow Heirloom to view his farms. He's FAKE! He's been bamboozling us all--he's been getting his produce from Nogales wharehouses (probably full of pesticides and GMOs) and reselling to us. Thankfully, Quality Assurance inspections will be done since new management is overseeing things.

It has improved! New management. We checked out this Saturday market in late September after attending it over the years. There is great potential to expand here with a beautiful location and a variety of vendors. Family friendly. We sampled smoked cheese and peppercorns, pumpkin bread, and wonderful pickled okra. I spoke with a lady promoting growing sprouts and picked up organic produce. Vendors were selling coffee, tortillas, baked goods, crafts, and more...This market is under improved, new management and it was really evident. Drop by and enjoy this southeast side, friendly farmers' market with a variety of artisans. We were there early, enjoyed the live guitarist; I was told food trucks and beer are on the menu some days. You may fall in love with this Tucson neighborhood. We have.

When I think of farmer's market offerings I think of farmers growing veggies and raising chickens for egg production and other organic items. To me these are intrinsic to the concept of a farmer's market. "Farm" being the operative word here. Unfortunately, that's not the case here. It's mostly an arts and crafts fair with a sprinkling of organic offerings. There is a group from Queen's Creek that offers a relatively large selection of produce but don't get your hopes up. The produce is often moldy or wilty or just generally in sad shape. There are a couple of bright spots though - Adventure Coffee Roasters for some locally roasted coffee and the folks from Benson with their kick ass tomatoes.

Needs more farmer produce. The bread vendor is the only reason I go. This is more of a flea market not like it used to be when we could pick up a weeks worth of vegetables

This used to be a great farmers market. All it is now is boutique booths. Almost no produce at all

I usually don't write reviews. I use yelp for travel to find amazing places to try. But I had to write this not for enjoyment but for your information. This is my fourth attempt going to this market. If you want produce do not even consider this place. There are no produce vendors with produce. They have one that brings baked goods really, a produce vendor with little to no produce but they have baked goods that they handle with bare hands "gross". On the bright side there are a few good vendors. Good pork, olive oils, spices and soaps. And amazing salsa and ceviche along with goat milk fudge yummy. That is the highlight of this place NOT THE PRODUCE.
