Retina Specialists of Southern Arizona

Went in this past Tuesday to see Dr Chris and was very happy with most of the staff, especially him. They took their time explaining all the procedures etc. Couldn't give 5 stars because one young female employee was inappropriately giggling and joking around with other, less amused staff. There's a time and place for everything....just a bit too immature currently. I'll definitely look forward to my next visit in about a years time to see Dr Chris again.

Scheduled an advance NEW patient emergency appointment only to walk in and be told they need to reschedule because their internet was down? Absolutely no empathy or back up system to inform patients of office issues. If you don't care how you are treated then schedule with this office.

I got poked in the eye by an Agava - was referred to Retina Specialists of Southern Arizona from St. Joseph Emergency after declining surgery due to lack of confidence in the on-call surgeon. Retina Specialists got me in the next morning. Dr. Christoforidis made me feel very at ease and confident in his knowledge and recommendation for the surgery. Post surgery follow-up has been great! Staff and Dr. Chris are friendly, professional and I feel confident that I am in great hands. Would highly recommend.

I was referred here following a well care appointment with Affinity Eye Care. A staff member made the referral for me while I was there, and gave me an appointment card. When I arrived at Retina Specialists following week they had no record of my appointment . I would not have stayed for my appointment anyway, because the waiting room was full of patients, and many were sitting very close to one another, clearly less than the required 6 feet. A cattle call medical office does not cut it during a pandemic. Whomever is responsible for Quality Assurance in this practice needs to be aware of what is going on- clearly NOT SAFE.

The friendly staff and best doctors - I know I am in the best care. If you need a retina specialists, this would be the place to go.
