This review is based solely upon the preschool program.Amazing! My 3 and 4 year old look forward to school every week. They come home quoting scripture and have memorized some great bible stories. My 4 year old is beginning to read and my 3 year old is learning to write.Miss Stahl and Mrs Young in the 4 year old class are amazing teachers and I highly recommend them.Redeemer has given my soon to be kindergartener a great foundation for school.

Our experience, From the first day I observed Miss. Clark at orientation I felt as if she were a bit guarded as an individual. As time went on and I observed her teaching in the classroom I began to see a teacher who lacked a smile and genuine happiness with children. I recall the very first day I volunteered she failed to introduce herself as any teacher would therefore I introduced myself, I felt that was a bit odd. The first meeting we all had about my child and his struggles she didn't say much and had her arms crossed the entire time as if she was upset. Body language expressed so much without any words needed. When she decided to share her opinion it was only the negative and with no constructive ideas on how to help. I couldn't understand the defensiveness and anger, as this meeting wasn't about her and her teaching. From our last meeting I then realized Miss. Clark disliked my child and had absolutely no interest in helping him. I will always recall my child's last day at Redeemer being a negative one. That Tuesday I walked in very excited to volunteer, that changed dramatically. I was taken back in how she cornered my child telling him he was liar several times until his eyes begin to tear. She still went on, even when he was truly not being deceptive, she only cornered and embarrassed him. My child was unable to complete the task due to his learning disabilities which she was well aware of, others would view that as bulling. Then Miss. Clark made my child feel as if he had sinned intentionally and in gods eyes is viewed as a sinner is so very hurtful. Children are too very precious and innocent and need compassion from their teachers, it's a requirement.

My kids went to this school & church & the experience was extraordinary. The staff & pastors are caring, teach Gods word, & set the example. I value the teaching of faith, salvation, values & the continuity. The classes are smaller than in public school. I like that religion is taught daily. My child went to preschool here & Miss Clark represented in one of the reviews here was completely unfair. Miss Clark is human & children need to be reprimanded. Taking care of 3/4 year olds is a hard job. Miss Clark is caring & does her job. My daughter who also had her as a teacher didn't have anything bad to say about her, in fact often said "she's awesome". Mr Peek (the principal) is an outstanding educator & one of the most positive persons I have ever met & I think his influence goes far, especially with the students. Additionally Pastor Langebartels is also fantastically positive & warm. Lastly, if your family ever needed pastoral care they would not let you down.

My review is on the school...The staff are all awesome here. My 2 children have gone to pre-school here for a few years and they have learned so much and they love the teachers. They also do some cool events that involve parents. Top notch place for your children to get a good education.

This review is for Redeemer Lutheran Preschool.Tucson is known by many as the Old Pueblo. Many of us consider Tucson to be a small town. Redeemer Lutheran Preschool is an extension of that small town feel. If you are looking for a place where your children are excited to go to school, then this is the place for you. Your children will feel loved both by their peers and by the teachers. I am talking a genuine real love. They will not only learn the preschool academics parents are looking for, but they will learn how to be good caring people. Your preschoolers will learn what it means to be a good friend. They will come home excited and ready to share bible stories with you. Redeemer Lutheran Preschool is a great place whether you are or are not religious. The religion is never in your face and you never feel forced to "convert." We do happen to be a church going family, so what we love about Redeemer Lutheran Preschool is that preschool is an extension of what we teach at home and what we expose our children to at our home church. We currently have two of our children (3-year and 4-year old) attending the T and TH preschool program at Redeemer. In the past our two daughters (now 7 years old) attended the M, W and F 4-year old program. As a busy mother of 5 children, I greatly appreciate the extended care program Redeemer Lutheran Church and School offer to the preschoolers. You can let the staff know that morning that you need extended care, you don't have to give advance notice, and you don't have to sign a contract. This has greatly helped me take several classes at the community college, work part-time and do volunteer work. I highly recommend Redeemer Lutheran Preschool to all parents of pre-schoolers.

I, too, am posting about the younger (3-year-old) program. The school and teachers do an amazing job! You can tell that Miss Watson sincerely cares about the kids. My kiddos love her and are always excited to go to school. More than that, I've been shocked and amazed at how much my kids have learned! They come home talking about bible stories, months/seasons, showing off new skills (eg, balancing on one leg, hopping on one foot), etc etc etc. I used to be home with my kids full time and felt guilty when I went back to work at age three, but having my kids at Redeemer has made such a huge impact for good in our lives! Our kids are cared for, well educated, and have made great friends at school. And I love how many activities they do (art comes home almost daily) & how many holidays include parents (eg, Halloween party, Christmas party, evening Christmas performance, etc). Great quality and price!

This is an amazing school with loving and caring teachers around. My 3 yr old and 4 yr old are attending the Mon-Fri preschool and they enjoy going to school. They do lots of hands-on activities and they are loving it! I strongly recommend parents to put their child/children in this school if they are looking for a good and nice environment.
