My boyfriend and I wanted to visit Saguaro National Park for our vacation, so he scoured the area for any vegan hotels and he pleasantly came across a new vegan B&B, Rancho Vegano. While inquiring about the facilities and then leading-up to (and even during) our stay, Colin and Roy's communication was professional, informative and timely every time. Once we arrived, a welcome packet was waiting for us. It outlined the various amenities that were supplied, an explanation of the grounds, a breakfast menu, and their favorite local restaurants that were either vegan or catered heavily to vegans. At one point during the correspondence, my boyfriend mentioned that we would be visiting during his birthday month, and that detail was not missed. Waiting on the dining table was a fresh bouquet of flowers and a birthday card. The rooms were spotless, the shower was amazing and the living space was very comfortable, almost like home. They even supplied some vegan reading material along with information about the local sights. Also, Colin and Roy tried to make Rancho Vegano as environmentally friendly as possible (which I applaud), from the bamboo sheets to the silverware. The only "gripe" we had, was the silverware. While eco responsible, it was a bit flimsy when trying to use and I was worried that I'd break the forks. They acknowledged the feedback and they mentioned that they'll probably switch to metal silverware in the future. Each morning we were entertained by local wildlife as we had our delicious and fluffy blueberry pancakes and a breakfast burrito stuffed with veggies with chipotle sour cream and a side of fruit. Both meals were delicious and kept us full for our day's journeys. There were a few occasions where I got to talk with Roy as he was tending to their grounds. Listening to their backstory and journey to veganism, their passion and dreams for what they want Rancho Vegano to evolve to is quite infectious. I can't wait to see how they expand Rancho Vegano. On our last morning, Colin and Roy invited us to have our breakfast up on their rooftop deck. The view was amazing and was the perfect start for our journey home. They also baked us fresh banana bread for the road, which was thoroughly devoured. Our only regret was not staying there longer, but it gives us an excuse to venture back. Rancho Vegano is slice of paradise in East Tucson and we look forward to our next stay.

MY NEW STAYCATION FAVORITE.I enjoyed a house-made breakfast made by Forks Over Knives certified vegan chefs Colin and Roy. They were kind and welcoming. The views are beautiful, and the space is clean. The saltwater pool was spotless and was at the perfect temperature. Nicely sized freezer/fridge, a purified water dispenser, and the comfiest bed. Everything was perfect! I'm excited to visit again.

It's been a minute since me and my now fiancé went here, but I'd like anyone who wants to come to know that our stay here was absolutely amazing. The property was very serene and secluded, there was a beautiful pool (which we'll have to come back to try out in the summer), there's plenty of things to do within the immediate area, and Colin and Roy (the hosts) are phenomenal cooks. We couldn't have asked for better service or hospitality and the food was literally to die for. Definitely will be coming back again.

From the very start to finding a vegan Bed and Breakfast in Tucson, making the reservation, and enjoying our stay. Our expectations were exceeded by the hospitality of Colin and Roy and all of the details they took care of for us. Ample space in the bedroom with two queen beds, extra blankets and a variety of pillows with different fluff levels. A separate dining area with fridge, coffee maker, hot beverage choices, and dishes were used daily in eating each breakfast that was cooked to order. The bathroom and shower were in a separate room and stocked with ample lotions, soaps, and fresh towels. We would highly recommend a stay at Rancho Vegano if you are looking for a quiet and serene setting with warm hosts. It even has a pool that would be great in the 100+ degree summer heat to cool down in. Unfortunately in mid-November the temperature during the days were in the 50's and nights in the 30's.

We really enjoyed two nights at Rancho Vegano. Colin and Roy are great host. The room is huge, beautifully decorated, and immaculate, big enough for two queen beds and a separate dining area and kitchenette. Breakfasts were terrific. The pool is right outside the door. The house is on the SE edge of Tucson, where the suburbs give way to larger lots where some people keep horses. Saguaro National Park's east section is just a couple of minutes away, with its long drive through the beautiful desert. In October it was pleasantly warm and so was the pool, which we used several times. Highly recommended.

Spent 2 nights at this comfortable - vegan! B&B. It was private and conveniently close to Saguaro Park East for hiking. We had a restful sleep and a yummy and filling breakfast, both days. There was a refrigerator to keep our snacks chilled, a water dispenser to fill our water bottles and a coffee pot (with a canister of coffee) for us to enjoy at our leisure. Can't wait to come back.
