Amazingly quiet. The owner, host onsite, was gracious and welcoming from the first messages. Very good directions and greeted me at check in. The well water is deeelish! The vistas calming. I extended my stay as soon as I set up, sat done and took a good look around. As a solo female traveler I feel completely safe. There's adequate cell signal. Electric hookup. Cows and horses. Birds and grasshoppers. Great RV spots, but this tent camper was over the moon satisfied. Kim at Rancho del Nido rates five stars plus!

What a wonderful find! We camped here for a few nights and felt like we almost had the whole ranch to ourselves. Quiet and peaceful, with a million stars at night.

Recently spent 5 nights in Rancho Del Nido's one bedroom casita while our horses were well housed in spacious pens. Couldn't believe our good fortune to find a place both beautiful and quiet- nestled among the mesquite trees with mountain views on 3 sides and well spaced barns, camp and RV spots, Rancho Del Nido has a personal feel of being a guest on a lovely ranch, especially due to the amazing hospitality of Kim and Dan- really cool folks who went out of their way to insure we had everything we needed. The casita is beautifully renovated and super clean with a fully stocked kitchen, comfy bed and quality linens, homey touches and thoughtful amenities. We really enjoyed having breakfast each day on the sunny porch. Bring your horses and enjoy riding the grasslands and washes right off the ranch or hit the local sections of the Arizona Trail. There are also 2 nice arenas and round pens to play or train in. Enjoy great restaurants, birding and an artsy vibe in Patagonia or browse the local wineries. My husband hiked Mt Wrightson up to the snowline! Lots of FS roads for ATV's, bikes etc. I hope this place doesn't get TOO discovered because we definitely hope to return!
