Quail Run Books

What a great bookstore! It truly is a gem. All my favorite authors were represented, and the books are well-organized and attractively displayed. This seems to be a thriving family-owned business. I salute the community for supporting an old-fashioned used bookstore. If I lived in the area, I believe I would be spending a lot of time at Quail Run.

As the world goes the way to immediate gratification and looking for the "cheapest" answer out there... I am so thrilled to have this brick and mortar bookstore available in southern Arizona. I have been a customer here for two years, and the owners are such a welcome addition to this retirement community. I love the selection of books that they curate, and notice they have a bang up business for puzzles as well. I like that the selection changes a bit, I love that they support local artists and writers. They have some very unique books available that I'm sorry to say I can't bring home ( so many books... so little time ). I love that whenever I am looking for a particular book, the owners research and find it- and often times asks if I want large print or not. I love that they will go out of their way for the community they live in. I read a review here and saw one person compare the store to china. I am proud to know that both the owners served our country, and continue to serve this community. Green Valley has a few bookstores around, but I'm always going to stop here first.

We are retired educators from Michigan. (I was a librarian). We are so pleased we found this gem of a bookstore. The selection is very good but the icing on the cake is the knowledgable staff. Simple not impressed! I asked about horse books and the response was "no." and then I asked about religion books. The customer service person or owner said "we don't carry anything political." I was baffled with this response. Are we in China!!! : (S.TNO THANK YOU!

The couple that run the store are just wonderful. They also rent jigsaw puzzles.
