There are so many poke places popping up lately, but Pure is one of a handful of places where I could immediately tell the ingredients are good. They have a sort of formula for success going on--limited proteins, with an abundance of flavor. What I liked: They're not afraid to bring the spice. They've got fish with gochugang, sambal, and more. It's not for the California Roll crowd for sure. I tried a bowl featuring Kahunu Tuna, and I also had some poke nachos. What gives pause: I feel like everything here was made well, but too sweet for my tastes. The Kahunu sauce is tasty, but sweeter than common condiments like eel sauce and perhaps my bowl had too much. But then the chili sauce was too sweet. And even the wasabi cream in the nachos tasted like there was a little added sugar. I think service is great, it's got a decent fast casual atmosphere, and it's worth giving a try for yourself. But I've already got my shortlist of lunchtime seafood spots, and I'm not sure Pure would make the cut.

I had dinner here last night with a group of friends. This is an order-at-the-counter place and you get your food immediately, kind of like Chipotle. It was quiet, which made conversation easy.As for the food, I got a Poke Bowl ($12) with one scoop of chiltepin salmon ($2.50), a base of noodles, and lots of veggies on top. There are many sauces to choose from, and you can get up to three for free. All of us enjoyed the food.

This has quickly become a favorite lunch spot. We can get a healthy lunch here quickly and there are so many options to pick from. I had a two school bowl with pure tuna and spicy tuna, both ere great. The service was fast and workers were polite and gave good recommendations. The location is close to a lot of our favorite shopping destinations. The restaurant is very clean, comfortable and tastefully decors.

Love this location! Always fast friendly service with a smile. Delicious poke bowls! So many options for toppings.. like sweet potato ! Love that they give you a ton of avocado when you add it. Always filling and reasonably priced. Know they have a second location on oracle. Also easy to order on line and lobby is always clean and cool inside .

If you love poke you should try this place! Prices were pretty reasonable and servings large. The workers were very friendly. And the food we yummy. Plenty of option to make it your own if you didn't wanna to a standard bowl.

Solid poke place for being landlocked in Tucson - you can build your bowl, choosing your base, proteins, and toppings. They offer a good amount of salmon and tuna options with different sauces - my favorites are the momo salmon (mayo based dressing with a kick) and the kahuku salmon and tuna (traditional style with base of soy sauce, sesame oil, and fresh ginger). There's a nice variety of toppings with mix of fresh vegetables, salads, and crunchy items. The bowls can be pricey overall but are definitely filling.

Drove from Green Valley to try this place out.The servers build a "bowl" based on your choices of noodles or greens, protein, veggies and other additions and sauces.Poke in Hawaii is usually your choice of tuna, salmon or octopus with sauce and sesame seeds, so the serving in a complete bowl was new to me.At any rate, the experience was wonderful: the foodtotally fresh, tasty and filling. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the ambiancepleasing (a brand new building).Give it a try, you will he glad you did!

The food was very very fresh. The servings are generous so the price is fair if it takes you a couple sittings to eat! This restaurant does not try to be pretentious. It's good food served deli style and it's worth the trip
