I have been a patient here for over 10 years, before they were afflicted with TMC. First with Dr. Nevin and then after he retired, Rotkis. Since I wasn't seen for 2 years I became a new patient. Okay so I waited 4 months to be seen. I did the preliminary breathing test at TMC in Nov. 2021 hoping that it would move me up! How naive of me. They couldn't be bothered. They couldn't even locate my results, who was I to think someone would actually look at it and be familiar or show atiny bit of concern? My appointment wasn't until late January 2022. 4 pm the day before my appointment I get a message informing me that if I wasn't vaccinated my appointment would be cancelled. I was livid. Why didn't they mention this earlier like when I confirmed appointment a week earlier? They don't know me or my medical history at all. I call patient relations at TMC because that was unprofessional and possibly illegal. The following morning, day of appointment, I get another message saying I would be seen by Dr Choi not Dr Rotkis who I had seen previously for years! No explanation nada nothing! I get there 1/2 hour early as I was instructed for new patient paperwork. They proceed to tell me since I didn't show for my breathing test appointment was canceled. So either they really didn't want to have me a patient or they are very, very disorganized. BTW No one ever took my paperwork. I turned it in as I left, I should have just thrown it in the garbage! Dr Choi has no idea who I am, my medical history, or why I was shuffled about. My husband took the day off work to accompany me because of the phone calls caused me stress and deep anxiety. The medical assistant did locate my tests and xrays and Dr Choi proceed to trivialize my condition because he has seen so much worse! Interesting way to treat people, you aren't as bad as some folks. Geee that is sooo helpful. His advice? Exercise and wear a k95 mask. I know there's a shortage of pulmonologistsIn Tucson. You are going to have to wait awhileto get in anywhere, but better go elsewhere, I really can't recommend PASA TMC one. And btw I think something happened in Dr Rotkis private life that has made him a bitter old man. Because he used to be quite pleasant. Even though it had been a few years since I saw him, he was very grouchy the last time.

Staff is astoundingly rude. I was referred by the VA Community care to this medical firm. I call them to setup an appointment. The receptionist informed me they couldn't see me for 4 months as a new patient. I explained my COPD medical problem to possibly get in sooner and the receptionist told my "That Sounds Good". Clearly she wasn't listening to anything I was telling her. Nothing about having COPD "Sounds Good".

I have to agree with Debra. Dr. Choy showed little interest in my boyfriend's condition. He pretty much said so. When we explained what was going on and what we had been told by another doctor he said "What do you want me to do?"I replied "I guess nothing" and we walked out.

They don't answer questions on the online portal, both phone calls and in person appointments have yielded nothing but " I don't know" and my actual MD never seems to be available. They are happy to order more and more testing but good luck getting someone there to interpret any results for you.

I had a sleep study Dec. 10, 2019 and was put on a bpap and no follow up by doctor. I had two tele calls by NP who new very little. I complained about my numbers and told her I was feeling very tired all the time. Periodic breathing was from 20 to 60. The doctor never followed up with me and she set the next call for two months. At the next call she did nothing again and now recommend I call back and make an appointment with the doctor. After 8 months of bad numbers and tired all the time I gave up expecting anything from them and changed doctors. My new doctor tried to get a copy of the sleep study twice with no results. I drove over to their office to get a copy. They made me stay outside in 107 degrees for 10 Minutes, I am disabled and picked up a headache from the heat. I had a face mask on. I finally got the test results. The office manager and receptionist were very rude. If I could give a lower score I would.

I was only involved with one phone call. It was a great experience. Dr Natrajon was absolute great. He listened to my concerns were taken seriously. I felt like I had is attention on the phone. He has closed his physical office and is affiliated with Nova Air. Unfortunately I got a callback from Nova air and was told that my insurance did not cover the plan. They were very polite and said they would make sure I didn't get charged for the first meeting. I was very disappointed. I am hoping that soon that will change. Pulmonologist are very few, you won't be sorry if you give this one a chance.

Dr. Choy is the worst doctor to see unless you want to have him kill somebody. He is negligent, ignores personal requests, is crass in his assessments and method of delivering news to a patient, is rude and creates so many mistakes during his biopsies that he's a lethal magnet for lawsuits. So many errors were entered into the system under my profile. He even wrote things on my reports that did not pertain to my health or medical condition at all. I do not have a heart condition. I do not have lung cancer. These kind of errors will send someone to their grave in no time! Do not go to Pulmonary Associates of Southern Arizona! If they call this man a doctor then their whole facility is a death chamber. Stay away! Do not be a statistic. You have been warned.

This review is for one doctor in particular. If you don't care whether you (or your loved one)lives or dies, then Dr Thomas Rotkis is the one for you. He is completely unfamiliar with the accepted protocol for treating pseudomonas infections in the lungs. After months of inadequate therapy and two hospitalizations within a month of each other, we were desperate for a doctor who could help my husband get well. His new doctor, Dr de Chazal, in the same group, is so much better and things have turned around. But Dr Rotkis has a very casual attitude and couldn't care less whether you get well or not. Save yourself the grief and avoid this Dr like the plague. If I thought I would get anywhere, I would see a lawyer, but all my energies need to go toward my husband's recovery.

I really like Dr. Aaronson, however, I don't have positive remarks to make about the staff's ability to quickly respond to prescription refill authorization requests from my pharmacy. Recently my pharmacy has reached out on 3-separate occasions and has yet to receive the refill authorization. I have been in need for this medicine for a week now. This is not a one time event, and seems to recur each time my pharmacy reaches out for an authorization. I am so frustrated and I think its time to look for a new provider.
