I've been to other mechanics and have felt taken advantage of for being a woman, but I'm so grateful that has never happened to me at Primarily Japanese. It feels like a bunch of dads are working on cars, and I mean that in the nicest way possible. These guys go out of their way to explain any issues with your vehicle and only recommend items that actually need to be fixed. I have sent so many of my friends here because they are the best shop in town.

First timer at Primarily Japanese Auto Service and I must say I was impressed!They were very nice and didn't try to upsell like some places do and I didn't have to wait forever for my oil change. For everything they did, the price was very reasonable too. I was most impressed with their clean and odor free waiting area. Some places stink like oil or tires but this one has an air cleaner! The price was great and I know I will be going back when my Rav 4 is ready to get clean oil again. I highly recommend their services.

The owner Joe, staff, and mechanics, are top notch. Everyone is efficient, polite, knowlegable, friendly, and all and all just wonderful. New to town, I've had 2 cars here done that needed factory scheduled service. Great price. I will continue to take the rest of my cars to them considering I own 4 toyota's and lexus.

We were glad for find this place. We have a Subaru that blew a radiator and didn't know where to take it. Our old Honda mechanic recommended this place. It's always hard to trust a new place. We got great care from John and I love the online appoint service l. We even got recommendations for body work that ended up working out well. I highly recommend taking your cars here.

Was recommended by my mechanic and they did a great job. They kept my car an extra day to make sure the problem was resolved and didn't charge extra. Hopefully I won't need to go back but if I do need work on my car I am definitely going back here.

2014 Subaru 155 miles was over heating. Diagnostic was completed and the radiator was replaced. Work was complete as promised. Fair price. Only recommendation was they should ask if you need a ride home. I took an Uber.

Just took my daughter's 2015 Honda CRV in for inspection and service. Got a detailed service price quote in a reasonable amount of time (engine gasket, brake inspection, brake flush, cvt transmission fluid change, and spark plug). Had a couple of questions and they reviewed the service quote with me over the phone. They did not try to upsell me on anything. These guys are honest and they did an excellent job on her vehicle. They even did some extra work at no extra charge. I couldn't believe it. But thank you so much!

I have been a customer of Primarily Japanese for 11 years. I am continually impressed with the quality of service, both to my car and to me as a customer. I give them credit for the fact that my 2004 Toyota Camry still runs fine. When they do a repair, they are careful to check other parts of the car and let me know if anything else needs to be done or what to watch for later. Recently the check engine light was on. I called and Joe had me stop by that afternoon. It turned out that the engine temperature was too low; he did something to fix it, and didn't charge me. When I call, whoever answers the phone knows who I am and my car. And besides my trust in them and the solid job they've done keeping this 20-year-old car going, this shop has integrity. And I care about that. They provide their workers with health and dental insurance and a dedicated lunch hour every day. They take care of their workers, who then take care of me. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
