Ed the owner gave me the most excellent short-short natural cut. I told him exactly what I wanted and he made the effort to do it "my way". Afterwards, easy care for a glamour girl such as I.New location at Speedway and Alvernon.

I'm using my husband's account...Horrible!! I had an appointment scheduled with Jill on Tuesday noon during my break hour. They called and confirmed on Friday. When I got in, Jill was nowhere to be found. The front desk kept on calling her and Jill did not even answer the phone from her own boss. I had an another appointment at 1pm, and asked if the rest of the staff could just cut my hair, but no one seem to care that Jill stood a new customer up and didn't try to make any accommodation. Not only that, one staff who walked in claimed that he was too sick to cut any hair and just walked off - leaving his own front desk gal speechless. Even I felt bad for her and I don't work there.Overall, it was a HORRIBLE experience. This business does not care about customers and I would not recommend them to anyone else.

They sold me their largest tanning package but never mentioned an "expiration date" on the purchase. And in all the paperwork I signed there was no mention of an "expiration date". Today when I went in to tan I was informed that they would "let" me tan today but that this large tanning package I bought was expired. I lost half of the package that I paid in advance. Very poor way to do business. The owner will rip you off. I will never go back to this place. Very disappointed.

Diane is great with both cuts and color. When I moved back to Tucson she was literally the third person I contacted.

Love my stylist! Mark Little is amazing. I'd been trying for a vintage 20s or 30s men's cut. I went to a very high end salon thanks to a gift certificate. While the stylist did a good job it wasn't quite right. I had Mark redo it about six weeks later and it was perfect. Despite the high and tight sides there was not a hair out of place despite a natural cow lick in the back. Great service and great prices!

Kim has done my mani/pedi twice and I can honestly say she is the best I've encountered in Tucson. Excellent foot massage when getting pedi done. Recommended!!

I Love My Hair Care at Presidio Hair & Nails! Out of all the salons in Tucson, Presidio has been the most consistent with excellent customer service, awesome color and fabulous cuts and styles - I always leave the salon happy with my new hairdo and my experience there! The salon is always clean, comfortable and visually appealing. Norma, the receptionist, is sweet and helpful with making my appointments. Ed, the owner, and other hair stylists are professional, friendly, talented and always attentive to my customer needs. I continue to highly recommend Presidio Hair & Nails to friends and others that compliment me on my hair. Thank You Presidio, for year after year, of excellent customer service and hair care!

I have lived in Tucson for almost 6 years and had horrible experiences with hair stylist for both color and cut. I recently went to Rita and I am thrilled to have found a skilled colorist and a stylist who knows how to cut and style my hair. I have received numerous compliments and can't believe my good fortune to have discovered Rita!! Yeah!! And she is a very nice person.

At first glance, the location and size of the space where Presidio Hair Salon relocated after 2(+) decades in business, might give the impression it can't compete with some of the more 'showy', high-end places in Tucson. But do not be fooled! In my opinion, this is the best salon in this city. It may be modest in size but it is surely huge in 'heart'; and it's almost completely because of the incredible people who choose to work there. I've been coloring my hair every 4 weeks religiously since I turned forty and i am now 47, so about seven years into it, and my hair looks better than in my twenties. I truly look forward to my appointments because I get to relax among friends, whose genuine kindness and hospitality is special and welcomed in today's world. When I switched to a new stylist, only because the original Presidio owner and my stylist (the infamous and awesome Ed) left to retire in his dream villa, I didn't have to worry. I now see Harold and He is incredible too. In fact, Im happier than I've ever been with my cut and color. I think It's important to also mention that the prices are exceptionally reasonable and in some cases, are more than half of what other known salons charge in the area.

In reference of the negative comment regarding Presidio Hair and Nails and Tanning I have been a customer for the last five years I have always been treated with up most respect and professionalism I have never had a problem with any of the staff members or any of their services they are a great place to go to and they're definitely professional.
