Portal Cocktails

True 5 out of 5 experience! It is a hidden bar that is leaves you breathtaking upon arrival! The interior is unlike anything I've seen and offers an enjoyable experience. The service was AMAZING. Friday night, one bartender & one server. They killed it. The bartender worked so hard, so fast & made beautiful drinks. The server was swift, friendly and got things done. They offered free shots at first which made a really nice impression. The drinks were so delicious and creatively curated. Really beautiful options! Definitely will come back & recommend.

I visited a couple of weekends ago and found the Sapien Landing and the Saturn to be just okay this time. However, I really enjoyed the Lips Pursuit shared shot.I wish they offered more snack options, especially since they don't allow outside food or snacks from Ermanos. Service can be slow, so expect a wait for drinks. A reservation is definitely needed on weekends.

Came here for the first time last week with my partner. The easiest way to get in is by going through Ermano's and heading towards the back.The layout is unique and has a cool wooden, curvy ceiling. Space is limited and hard to maneuver between tables and couches. Ambiance felt like a mixture of witchy craft cocktails meets sci-fi meets attempt at NYC exclusive lounge. You're limited to how much time you can spend there due to limited space and seating.We got a welcome shot, which was tasty. The drinks have unique names and spins on classics. Slightly pricier than we would have liked and my partner's dirty martini was a little muted. We'd probably only return if friends wanted to check it out, otherwise, this place just wasn't for us.

Excellent cocktails and service. Will definitely return. I hope to become a regular patron

I have visited this low-key cocktail lounge located in the back of Ermanos Bar about 5-6 times now and can't say enough good things about it. I heard about it from workers at Sidecar, another great lounge in town (highly recommended) Portal is usually pretty busy, so it's worth making a reservation, but deceptively chill and worth the experience. 5* = A top favorite. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime.4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business.3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient or the only option. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it.2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money.1* = Stay away at all costs!

What a beautiful space! Really loved the look and feel of Portal. The welcome shot was a really nice touch, and the cocktails were delicious. I like that they use herbs, fruit and/or spices in their drinks, that are sourced locally. The music they played was really good. Good acoustics, too! Not crowded at all when we stopped by on a Saturday mid-afternoon, we found it very laid-back and relaxing. I imagine the experience is a bit different when you go at night, when it is likely a lot more crowded.

In the back of Elliot's is this beautiful lounge, with great ambiance, great service, and even better drinks! I was pleasantly surprised with our Espresso Martini and Pornstar Cocktail. The Espresso Martini with a cinnamon garnish was a great start to the evening. The Pornstar Cocktail with the lime garnish was the star of the show. Passionfruit can be tart but this drink was both tart and sweet. The bartender was very kind and was attentive. Thank you for the great service and atmosphere!

This place is hands down my favorite cocktail bar in Tucson! It's intimate/cozy, super aesthetic, and the drinks are so dang good!!! They have one with toasted black sesame in it that I get every time I go, and the welcome shots are always such a fun surprise for visitors when I bring them here. Love coming here and highly recommend checking it out!

Love the vibe of portal cocktails and they have a pretty good cocktail selection, something for everybody. You're always greeted with a welcome shot.Given that it is a speakeasy/cocktail lounge vibe the space is small. The tables and chairs are also pretty cramped so you're likely sitting next to another party. There usually is a wait so recommend making a reservation, but you can always grab a bite at Ermanos while you wait. The portal has some snacks, but wouldn't recommend.

Very cool ambiance.. kind of space aged bar theme vibes but not over the top.. cool lighting and multiple types of seating. Interesting cocktail list, bartender was helpful with recommendations and a free welcome shot(also delish) . This tucked away bar is worth a look through the portal... get it? ;)
