This Popeyes location is a true breathe of fresh air the eastside! So far they have not made as many mistakes in my orders like the 22nd street locale. This store is clean and staff are friendly. Often the side dishes are not filled up when I receive my orders. I still continue to check my orders for accuracy and freshness! The chicken has been served hot, fresh and flavorful as we Popeyes chicken family expect. Our family does enjoy dining at this location

I was happy to see this place being built. I fondly remembered their chicken and Louisiana sides. I guess my memory was terrible. I ordered what I thought was tenders and a side of cajun mashed potatoes. I got bone in chicken, which is fine as I like that too. Lets start with what I remember being potatoes with a flavorful gravy with visible ingredients and a little spice. What I got was potato paste with water gravy. I mean that's what I assume that gravy was because that's what it looked and tasted like. In fact water was the theme. The chicken was crunchy and juicy, real juicy, like it was just water juicy. Completely bland food oh and that 8 piece and mashed potatoes was $30. There are a million places (like a grocery store) where you can get better food for half that price. Probably won't be going there again.

After getting chicken here a couple of weeks ago I went in for another 12-piece meal deal. I stand by what I said last time as well but it is now clear that that must have been an aberration. This 7/24/24 visit was awful. Old chicken sitting in the warmers. Only one lady ahead of me and two people standing waiting on their food. I must have waited in line (and this was inside) over 20 minutes. Several other crew members wandering around looking lost and disinterested. I asked about the senior discount and she lied to me about including it but she didn't. Different day, different people. Old chicken, long wait and lied to. No thanks. Other places and better service all over Tucson. I will not be back to Popeyes. Judging by the rest of the reviews I should have known better.

The food that I ordered was pretty good, prices seem a bit steep for premade fast food. The service at the counter was quick and easy with Gabby. Biscuit was cold and a bit hard but the rest of the order, Mac n cheese and 3 tenders was very warm.

I just sat trapped in the drive through for 50 minutes. What a disgusting way to treat people. Should be serving the drive through first! Won't ever stop at this location again. If you can't operate the drive through close it!!!! If I could give zero stars I would.

Other than fast food and hopefully you get there when the chicken has just come out of the fryer, what more can you really say. The service is always good, I've had to go back once after my teenage daughter picked dinner up and it was half wrong and mostly old chicken, but the cashier fixed it right away. I even tried to explain that it took a little while for me to get back there because they were doing some road work on Sabino Canyon, but she didn't care, she just remade the entire meal for us, which I truly appreciated. We've never dined there so don't know about the ambience, but it seemed quite clean when I walked in there.

I was hopeful Popeyes chicken would be good because the closest KFC is a haul. Sadly, it was not. It was terrible. Way too much skin and breading, no meat, and no flavor. They forgot our biscuits. The mash potatoes were good. I will not repeat and will be making the trek to KFC for my very occasional fix.

Don't order from here. Food is never ready on time. Ordered via the mobile app, 20 minutes ahead of time, got to the store and was told in the drive thru it would be another 12 minutes because they didn't have any chicken ready, then went in after waiting 20 minutes, and was told that it would still be another 6 minutes. In total 45 minutes for fast food chicken. Not worth it. This is the second time this exact scenario has happened in 1 month. Not coming back.

The guy working was very sweet with the nose ring but my food was just really bad. It didn't even LOOK good dude, I'm not tryna make anyone get in trouble for it but please do better. The chicken was cold,the fries were cold and hard, the biscuit was a rock.
