Pond Plants and More and Maintenance

Bot several large Koi and all have been healthy. I about ready for another and this is the place I'll buy them from. Prices a very reasonable and the staff was very helpful

Pond Plants and More recently resurfaced our backyard pond. These people love ponds and it showed in the quality of their work and willingness to get the job done right and in a timely manner. We found the price very reasonable. They suggest adding a new filter which has been a tremendous improvement to our pond. They were always on time and kept their word. It's so nice to have a contractor you can trust. We did have a pesky small leak probably from the original pond construction. Pond Plants and More were diligent in getting this repaired and came back multiple time to make sure it was fixed properly. I highly recommend them for any pond maintenance.

I wanted to make a fish pond out of a Jacuzzi we did not use anymore and when I called Pond Plants and More, Sherry came to my house and within 30 minutes she transformed my Jacuzzi into an enticing pond, adding rocks of my garden onto the steps and placing potted water plants all around. She even came with Goldfish and installed a water fountain with a filter system. It was like a dream come through. When I have questions or need replacement parts for my filters etc, they have them right in their store and they help me with every problem I have. This is a treasure of a store with excellent service.

Expert, prompt, thorough, reasonable - Sherry is the best! We acquired a pond when we moved into our house, and could never get it to work properly. Sherry thoroughly cleaned it, created a filter, and explained everything to us so we could handle most of the maintenance ourselves, all at a very fair price. She has so much energy that while she was waiting for the pond to fill, she drove back up to Tucson from Green Valley and picked up some fish at her store that she donated to our pond. We are customers for life!

Just recently bought two koi from here and it was absolutely amazing! A very sweet lady with very good prices and excellent product! Our new koi are absolutely beautiful. Definitely will be going here again!

I contracted with Pond Plants & More to revamp my existing Koi pond and waterfall about a year ago. They built up the waterfall using just dirt between the rocks so that the first hard rain washed all of the dirt away leaving zero support for the rocks. They are now in a pile at the bottom. The pond itself is surrounded by a top layer of cinder block for support. PP&M was to concrete natural stone on top of the cinder block to make it look more natural, 75% of the stone they cemented have fallen off. They replaced the filter unit I had with one that does not have sufficient capacity. They then placed a fiber mat in the waterfall that was supposed to keep the pond clean -- this only works to catch the big leaves, not act as a bio filter. They lost the pond skimmer basket -- I'm still waiting for them to deliver a new one. With the quality of their own koi pond I assumed they knew what they were doing. My confidence was sorely misplaced. I would not recommend them to anyone for building or maintaining a koi pond. They do have nice koi for sale from time to time, which gives them the one star rating.
