Food : excellent except the chili relleno needs to be better.Service: all the servers have been extremely nice and prompt to your needs. Ambience: very clean nice looking Mexican restaurant : Colorful and well taken care off .It's now become our go to place .

I ordered the Chile Colorado with no sides, added cheese and sour cream. Super flavorful, mas rico, me gusta mucho!Love the interior and the have an outdoor patio. Super friendly staff. I'll be returning!

Quick update - AGAIN, a consistent 5-star rating. Emily, Claudia and 'chef' provide a breakfast 'as good as it gets'. One horchata, chorizo plate and a two shredded beef taco combo. Every time I eat here, not a single criticism. Even the bathroom is spotless & fully loaded. Thank you, Plazita Mexico Café, see you soon.

Love this very local, family friendly place for breakfast. Traditional Diner and Sonoran style breakfast choices (chorizo, Huevos rancheros), and friendly service. What more can u want?

Food is 'real' , tastes like home cooking. Service is great and very attentive. Obviously a favorite of many because you see regulars, which is understandable with such attentive service

Read the praising reviews here so we gave it a shot for lunch. Wife had shredded beef quesadillas ($9.99) and I had the creamy chicken enchiladas lunch special ($11.50). Free chips and salsa quickly arrived at our table. Chips were fresh but salsa was watery and not a lot of flavor. Both are entrees were ok but really lacked in flavor. Certainly did not live up to the other reviews. Good service. I'd give this restaurant a 5 out of 10. With tip our lunch cost $28.00. Not a good deal.

Service was so friendly and welcoming. Right when you walk in everyone greets you. You seat yourself so I chose a booth to the right, next to the kitchen. FOOD WAS DELICIOUS. Came so quick. First was served chips and salsa. Ordered a Horchata and Coffee cause I like mixing the two Then the Green Corn Tamales, Eggs and Beans... sooooooo good. & affordable. Service consistently checked on me as well making sure I was good, if I needed more coffee, and asked how the food tasted. Good quality service. The place is small and cute.

Tried 3 different times ordering different items each visit, due to the good reviews. I'm not a fan. The food to me is bland. I do have to say the pancakes were good though. The other dishes, not so much.
