If I could give them 10-Stars, I would!Very professional staff. We refer all of our residents to Keith and Sarah and their wonderful Nurses and Caregivers, for all their in home care needs after discharge.

Placita in Home Care is a company you can believe in and trust. I live out of state and Placita helps me with my mom. My mom is home alone, needs a helping hand. I cannot say enough about the personal care and great service we receive.. .my mom recently was in rehab and I couldn't get into town to be there when she got out. Placita had her. Made sure everything was set for my mom to come home and got her home! They also paid my Mom a couple of visits at rehab knowing she had no family. If I need additional time and help, a simple phone call or text, they are there. Keith (owner) has been a fantastic resource for me, as my mom ages. This company is top notch and will help you adjust from needing in home care thru the processes that age of life brings.

Placita in home care helped with care for my Dad recently. Sarah was attentive to our needs and provided some pretty awesome caregivers, that were there for some help with his wife as well. As a care home owner in the community for over 16 years it is a breath of fresh air to have Placita In Home Care in your corner. The services they offer are far superior to that of other companies in the field. The ability to call on them and utilize them for any staff shortages for our care homes especially during the COVID pandemic was such a relief. My residents were always in wonderful, capable, and caring hands with Placita ensuring their staff was more than qualified to handle any task. They also offer placement services when a patient needs a higher level of care or if they have no place to go after a hospital or SNF discharge. There have such care and compassion when finding the right care home fit. Not just any home will do! they make sure we can meet all of the patients needs and are very upfront and honest with what those needs are. They make sure I have all the paperwork necessary prior to discharge and help facilitate a smooth transfer. They make my job a lot less stressful and I can't thank them enough!

If I could leave a 0 star review, I would. It was a good service when I first started with them, but they have driven away all their good employees and are just hiring whoever they can off the street.I've had theft problems with a few of their "Care Pro's" (I used to keep a couple hundred dollars in cash on my desk for when I needed a store run done). Mistake, as it kept disappearing. I now give them my debit card for purchases. I've had hundreds of dollars spent at stores I don't send them to for groceries. I don't visit the Dollar Store, yet my debit card has been used there a few times. It happens to be near the grocery store that I send them to for errands. You don't have to be a detective to figure that one out, everything is time stamped into my bank account. I've had several other items magically disappear from my house. Computer monitor that I had stored in my home office that I no longer use vanished. If you like people who never shower and smell terrible (like make me leave the room kind of stink) when they kick off their shoes to go to sleep at noon on the couch. I've had days that I've had to open all my windows and air the house out when the "Care Pro" left for the day just to get rid of the lingering foot odor they left behind.If you want to pay to have someone stare at their phone and do nothing, enjoy having people steal from you, and have no expectations of quality care, this is the service for you.

Actually, I should have done this awhile ago, but have not had the chance. Glad to do this now though. Placita Home Health care in my opinion, is one of, if not the best service in Tucson. They provided daily services for us for my elderly father. I still have to work, thus I needed a caregiver in my absence. It was very stressful to be in such a position, until Placita came into our lives. They were very thorough with everything when they signed us up and continued to be throughout their time with us. The professionalism is unsurpassed as far as I am concerned.They accommodated any special scheduling that we needed. Our caregiver's name is Jackie who became a part of our family in our eyes. I call her the "Angel Caregiver" whose petite frame and huge heart rang the doorbell that first morning. I had no stress while at work knowing Jackie was caring for my dad, who absolutely adored her. My dad was also on home hospice eventually and Placita worked with the hospice so very well. Jackie is hospice trained. My dad landed in the hospital at one point and Jackie and Sarah Condon visited with him and even helped with his comfort in the hospital. When my dad went home to the Lord, Jackie and Sarah both attended his funeral service. I would not call any other services if you need caregivers for your loved ones. Call Placita. It will be the best decision you can make for your loved one, especially in such stressful times when life turns around and our elderly parents become our children. I can't say enough about Placita and the people who work there. We originally contracted with them to provide periodic home health care for my 88-year old father with dementia as he was recovering from a hip fracture. We were incredibly fortunate to be assigned Sherry as a caregiver. She was fantastic with my father and with my mother, also in her late 80s and overwhelmed with their changing circumstances. Sherry went above and beyond the call of duty -- finding a loaner wheelchair, coming to the hospital with us when my father was taken to the emergency room. Tony, who handles outreach and marketing, was like our case manager, helping us every step of the way. When it was clear my father needed more than could be provided at home, Tony took me to tour assisted living facilities. When his health took a precipitous turn for the worse, she was helping to arrange hospice care and then, ultimately funeral arrangements. I honestly don't know how we would have made it through this very, very difficult period without their assistance and support. I strongly recommend this agency.
