Standard of care is barely adequate. Customer/patient care is nonexistent, unfortunately 0 stars is not available. Booked for an appointment without my authorization, then had the audacity to attempt to charge a no show and cancellation fee in excess of office visit fees.

The actual provider is capable and courteous. The staff at the front check in are nasty and rude. You are treated as bother. Cold 'sterile' and uninviting place.

I have been a chiropractic patient of Pima Pain Center for several months now. I appreciated how close one of their locations (St. Mary's) was to my home. I also felt like the chiropractor did an excellent job keeping me aligned and pain free.My low rating for Pima Pain Center is 100% based on the front-desk staff and inconsistent/non-compassionate screening procedures. While I am basing my review on months of observations, I will provide two specific examples from my visit yesterday. When I arrived a gentleman in his late 80's to early 90's was in front of me waiting to check in. He could not walk safely without assistance. The lobby is divided into the check-in area and waiting area. The receptionist who checked him in pointed to the other side of the lobby to communicate that he had to wait there until called and simply watched the gentleman do his best to lean against the wall as he scooted over about 75 feet to the directed waiting area. I would expect a pain clinic to recognize mobility issues and proactively offer assistance. Sadly, Pima Pain Center seems to treat patients that need extra care as an interruption to the daily routine instead of the reason for it.After observing this, I was quite bothered and was going to offer constructive feedback to my doctor about what I saw and the opportunity to improve patient services. Unfortunately, I was denied access to the facility and was not able to see my doctor.Pima Pain Center is very inconsistent in the way they apply their COVID-19 screening. Every two-weeks I am in contact with someone who has travelled outside of the local area or I have travelled outside the local area myself. Each time I answered the pre-screening questions I had been allowed to enter except once, when I informed the staff that I had been in contact with someone who flew in from Florida.Yesterday, I informed the staff that I had just returned from a car drive to California (a location of lower infection rates) and that I had not come into contact with anyone outside my family. This time the receptionist told me that I needed to call the triage line, get a COVID test, and go into self quarantine for 14-days because I had crossed a state line. With inconsistent policies and enforcement of those policies, I cannot rely on Pima Pain Center for my medical needs. It seems to be luck of the draw when you check-in what the staff thinks needs to happen. Finally, when I tried to explain that I was at no additional risk because of my isolation while traveling, the receptionist looked down at the desk and mumbled curse words while she shook her head. The receptionist staff need to be properly trained to be polite, proactive for patients with mobility issues, and apply company policies uniformly.I hope this review helps Pima Pain Center improve their patient and business practices.~Gary

Slow to answer phone when you call. They say on their website they have lots of options. I've been offered 2- injections & pain meds, for which I have to drug test b4 a refill. Never offered the many choices I went there for that my other pain center had available. And if you go for an injection your driver must remain outside (or go somewhere else ) which in Az. in the summer is cruel .

Trying to move from one pain center to Pima Pain. Medical records transfer was a disaster. My wife and I had to stay on top of Pima the whole time and they still did not get it right. Two visits with Dr. Annabi and he still does not want to treat me. Says not enough records transfer. It's as if he thinks I am a Pill popping Doc shopper. I hope someone is actually getting care here and not just simply being bilked for their money!Oh and he let me walk out without even a diagnosis. I guess he was hoping the previous "Experts" were going to do it for him.

Pima Pain Center has given me the best care I have had from a medical facility....Period. From the doctors and Nurse's to the office people they are All friendly thoughtful and professional. They have won awards yearly in Tucson and I understand why EVERY time I go in. They have cared for me as if I am their only patient. They take all the time needed to make sure I am healthy, happy and pain free plus they do it with a smile on their faces. I am blessed to have these angels taking care of me. They have locations all around Tucson for convenience.Thank you Pima Pain Center

I went to this pain clinic out of desperation to treat the pain caused by a diagnosed spinal condition for which I do not want surgery.. The initial physician seemed very competent. She examined me briefly then started me on a medication for pain. The following 2 or 3 months I attended each appointment they require a consumer of their services to attend. The medical staff were polite (not so much the clerical staff). The initial medication prescribed didn't improve the pain much at all & even seemed to aggravate the pain. I told an examining staff member & she acted as though she did not know what else to do for me. I guess trying a different but similar med is not an option at this clinic. The provider then told me of a procedure they have neurosurgeons perform that includes placing wires in the spinal area on a temp basis & another procedure to install permanently. When home I looked up & read about this procedure & was flabbergasted to learn that the failure rate of this procedure was over 38%! When failing it can produce painful side effects that include electrical shocks to the patient's back. I said nothing at the next app't other than, "This isn't working for me", & decided this clinic was unable, or unwilling to help me. I was polite even though it was a very discouraging & unpleasant experience. There are also much less invasive procedures available & different meds that can be helpful. With the exception of the initial visit, it was not pleasant. Even the requested discharge letter was a bust - not personalized at all - & mostly talked about how the consumer was now perhaps an addict. My advice is to stay away from this pain clinic that advertises alternative treatments but in actuality offers much less.Oh & watch out for procedures qthat possess a high failure rate.Patricia ErwinTucson, AZ

This is the second time that I have turned to Pima Pain Center for help with chronic pain issues. the first time, the cervical epidurals, medication management and chiropractic care resolved the issue and I was able to go years without needing their help. When I began to have chronic pain again, in another area of my spine (low back now), I tried PT, OT, Warm baths, ice, heat, meds on my own, etc. and when none of that worked I called Pima Pain Center and got an appointment within a few days. The chiropractor, Dr. Bolton, was great! I trust that all of this will be addressed and I can resume my life with comfort again soon. Oh, you might want to know that last time I had tried another popular pain center first and my cervical epidural was done in the wrong place (nowhere near the nerve). So, I know that these doctors are much better at this.

I always know that when I am treated here that I will be treated with a friendly face, supported in all aspects of my care, and treated as a somebody with great concern for controlling my pain. Everyone was awesome today and I know I was in excellent hands. Thanks so much for the work that you do. Dr Shiller performed my L4, L5 and S1 epidural today. As soon as I knew who it was doing it I knew I was in excellent hands. Thank you so much Dr Shiller you are awesome. You and Dr Annabi treated my neck a year and a half ago and the neck is still pain free. I am looking forward to be pain free in my lower back.
