Trying to get zoning information but was sent from counter to counter. Now at Pima County. Wait time 30 minutes. Told to go from the 1st floor to the 2nd and then to the 6th floor. Finally got an answer but had to go to the 4th floor, got sent back to the 1st floor, then sent back to the 4th floor and back to the 6th. Spent 2 hours here and now I need the surveyor to redo the legal description with a 5 foot easement. Will be back in a few days. But grateful to Aaron and Tim on the 6th floor in the Right of Way department for their help getting answers.

Do not believe the wait estimated by the officer in the lobby. We went to apply for passports at noon on a Monday and he estimated a 2 hour wait and suggested we come back another day at 8:00 am.We went upstairs to check our forms and just out of curiosity I asked at the information desk about the wait. She told us there was one person ahead of us. It took 14 minutes total to get in and out of there with 2 passport applications processed. If we had taken the officer's advice, we would have probably been waiting for a long time at 8:00 with all of the other people he told to come back unnecessarily. Plus having to take a second trip downtown and paying again for parking.

I thought it was only fair to Yelp the county since they are as much a business as any other entity that takes your money. I have waited 20 mins so far even though there are few people here. I have found that in the past, the service has been pretty good once you finally get past the wait. My main complaint is that there is no way to take care of business here outside of regular business hours. Since I am no longer working nights, I have to request time off work to request extensions. This means I not only lose money, but I also have to pay the ticket. For those of us that work Monday -Friday, there is no way around it, we have to tell our employers about our traffic violation. Today I got lucky. Since I was respectful and cooperative, the policeman gave me a citation that cost nothing since I handled it in a short amount of time. The court clerk was polite and friendly. As far as handling a traffic violation, this went surprisingly well. I can't say I recommend coming to court as a habit, but if you have to do it, this court experience was better than I expected. Keep up the friendly process, Pima County. I'll come back and pay my fines here again the next time I break traffic laws. ;)

Not a bad wait on a Tuesday morning, and the staff were very helpful in trying to solve my problem. However, I can easy see how someone could be waiting here all day takes long. Time for some of this stuff get done
