Pima Canyon

Absolutely beautiful! Great hiking trails from intermediate to expert level. The views are amazing. Make sure to bring a hat, good hiking shoes and plenty of water. Nice parking lot with plenty of spots and there is a drinking fountain at the beginning of the trailhead but no bathrooms.

I prefer this hike in the winter and early spring. This one is a steady incline for the most part and pretty rocky. I'd say intermediate. Take plenty of water and snacks. The section with the damn is a nice spot to chill or take a break.As others have noted it's not super shaded. Depending on time of year and day as well. We're in Arizona so always wear plenty of sunscreen, a hat and always bring more water than you think you'll drink.

Beautiful hike. Uphill and rocky, so it's more moderate than easy. Great views and spots to stop and enjoy your packed snacks or lunch. Make sure to take your garbage with you please! Not a lot of shade in the beginning, so a hat is a must!

Great hike. Starts out in the sun and a steady incline with rolling moments. Truly Beautiful and scenic. Once you get into the canyon, you have a nice shaded hike. It continues to have a steady rolling pace. There are great photo ops. Stop by the dam on a great big rock. Grab lunch. That is a level 3 hike. Awesome. Serene. Peaceful.
