Peaceful Paws is an outstanding grooming salon! They did such a wonderful job with my Chihuahua, who tends to be a bit grumpy, and she was just completely enamored with her groomer, Eileen. I'm surprised by some of the other reviews I see where customers are either canceling on the same day and expecting there to not be a charge, or customers are expecting the salon to just "take their word for it" on their pet's vaccine status. Peaceful Paws is a small business, for starters. Cancelations have such a big impact on small businesses, particularly when you have staff you have to pay (and products to pay for, rent, etc.). It's just inconsiderate to not call ahead, especially when all of us as customers sign an agreement that clearly lays out all of these policies. Big chains may be able to absorb those costs but you'll never get that same sort of personalized service of a small business where the owner knows your dog by name (sometimes they might even know you too, but I'm good just being known as "Loca's mom" ). It only takes a minute to call and allows a business owner to fill an appointment slot. Be courteous! As for the vaccines, I have NEVER heard of any pet (or medical) business just taking someone's word for vaccination status. If you bring your dog to boarding or day care, you ALWAYS must show proof of rabies, parvo, bordatella, etc. I'm thankful that I can be confident my pups will not be exposed to something that may harm them because the owner has the good sense to go the extra mile and VERIFY. It's good business, and just good common sense!

I really wanted to give them a chance because it's a local business. The first day we went in person to book an appointment and one of the employees was scolding another employee. (We all have rough days, so no problem right?) We were told by the employee to come early to make sure that our dog's vaccine records were in the system. Sounds good. We show up early (as requested) and we were asked what we were doing there so early. ?? I explained. While there, I noticed a new sign that says a $1/min late pick-up fee has been added. This was not discussed when we booked the appointment. ñ I was then told by the employee you never read our agreement. I clarified that we were never given one. After I walked out and said that we would be cancelling, I then received the agreement by text about 30 min later. This is a pricier grooming salon. I'm ok paying more for old-fashioned, quality customer service. In this case, it seems to be paying more to be treated as if you're a bother/intruding.

I explained that my dog was very hyper and asked if it was OK to give him a sedative. I was told not to give him one. Then, because he was so hyper they could not perform all the services. however, they still charged me for the full price. I was told I would get a discount on my next service because I was charged full price on accident. When I called for my next service they declined my discount and said that their prices have gone up so they could no longer give me the discount I was promised. So basically they charge you $90 and up for services that they do not perform and find a way to blame it back on the pet owner or inflation.

Bad customer service!!!We made an appointment a month and a half ago and excited to bring our dogs to get groomed here at this location we drove an hour and a half. To try this groomers out. When we arrived, behind she told us she was running behind. Due to the fact that one of her groomers called in sick. So when we arrived, she only had two dogs and they were both completed. Our dogs are fully vaccinated however she did not take our word for it. We got a hold of the clinics where our dogs were vaccinated, they were willing to fax over the information but. But due to the fact that she was running behind schedule she told us she would have to reschedule our appointment. We had our records and showed them to her but she still refused to groom our dogs. She didn't want our business it was clear, so we left and will not be returning to this location. Be aware! Not a friendly place. Three little Yorkies. So sad, she messed up. Not working with us. I don't see this business making it. Our dogs are very well taken care of and she missed out on the opportunity to work with us we would've been customers for life.

I just wanted to take the time to say that Eileen at Peaceful Paws really helped me out today. Long story short, my dog really needs a professional bath and groom but these last 2 years went by so fast I didn't realize her vaccines were past due. Most vets in town are booked 3 weeks out and my work schedule makes it more difficult. Eileen not only found me a vet to do the vaccines the next day, she gave me contact info for Monica at Creature Comfort to pick my fur baby up so I could attend another appt. Layla will now be up to date on her vaccines and enjoy a spa day to make up for it. A++++ for customer service.

They seemed so kind at first, but wouldn't accommodate or work with me when it came to cancellations or emergencies. They schedule you way in advance for pet grooming appointments, which is nice since you won't struggle with getting your pet in, but if you have an emergency (I broke my foot the night before my appointment and was instructed by a dr not to drive) or need to cancel appointments you will still be charged. I was given a $120 fee for no services. I explained my case to the manager, but they were completely unsympathetic. I'm willing to pay a lot for my pet. The amount of the services they provided are NOT cheap, but they seemed to be quality services so I was totally fine with the expensive pricing (and still gave great tips for their services). However, they'll charge you the same expensive prices even if you can't show up. I used to speak highly of them for what seemed like good customer service and very personable staff. However, they refuse to work with you when it comes to any personal issue outside of your control.

I love taking my Blue here. They are friendly, accommodating, and take concerns into consideration. My pup has allergies to certain things and they always work with me to make sure there are no concerns there. It's about time to take him back in.

What amazing service and employees. I have never had a bad experience with Eileen and her employees. They have treat both my dog and cat with the most amazing care. I'm in the military and sometimes the schedule changes where you aren't able to make an appointment or you need a last minute appointment. Thank you so much for everything Eileen and team from the bathes to haircuts she's the only one I'd trust with my animals in Sierra Vista. Thank you again
