My folks have been coming here off and on for 13+ years and it was always a pleasant experience for them. When I come visit them here, it was also a great experience; until today when I met the fascist employee (Chris) who was cussing in front of my kids. She was telling me that I was driving like a maniac (I didn't know that going 15 mph was "like a maniac") and that the speed was 8 mph. I understand that I was going fast (for that old fascist) but don't freaking cuss in front of my 4 year old for crying out loud. Also, I am not sure what her credentials are in terms of calculating speed (I don't know if she had a stop watch or a speed camera or whatnot). In addition, she was yelling at me that I needed to check in before visiting my folks (first time I heard that in 13 years). It is a beautiful park with a gorgeous lake. There is a swimming pool and laundry and other stuff for folks who stay here. There are plenty of slots for RVs and fifth-wheels. I would recomend staying here for a relaxing, beautiful spot to lay your head.Just watch our for the cussing speed fascist...UPDATE: As I was leaving, I made sure to go 5 mph and a separate speed fascist motioned to me to slow down. If they do not know how to calculate speed, they need to back off because their idiocy is showing. I am downgrading them a star for their moronic antics.

Can you give 5 stars for friendliness? Betty was my best friend from the first call to make our reservation. If we ran a park, I hope we would be as welcoming. You are treated as a responsible adult as long as you drive slowly and clean up after your pet. If you can, stay on a Tuesday night when you are invited to the potluck. The site was level and nice gravel. Bathroom was a single room and very clean. Only downside was some potholes. We will return.

This place was great. Nice friendly people made us feel welcome. We pulled in at 5pm and they were having a potluck dinner and invited us, but we didn't have a dish to pass. No problem. We were made welcome. We weren't left sitting by ourselves. They sat by us and made friendly conversation. We felt at home. They even talked us into staying another night and go visit Tombstone. We had a great time and will stay here again. This is an adult park. Not really for children.

this is our 2nd & last time here. People who live there full time are great. The place is nice but over grown with weeds, looks worse than the last time.wifi is non existent except at pool area and office area. We were told 2 years ago the they were getting Starlink, through out park. Stll only 2 areas. We were going to stay 5 day but the white hair office lady is VERY snotty. Quiet hours are 10pm-8am that's nice. Except the lady that cleans the bathroom @ 6;15am in the morning. all we heard was the toilet lids slamming. Whenever she talks to people walking by her voice is loud. she's nice but come on it's too early. quiet hours remembe. they have a pool table but manager said it's to heavy to move, so no pool table, take it out of your website & brochur. We did like the band. Sorry but won't stay here again.

A bit of a surprise - what a great place to stay! Adults only, but amazingly welcoming, peaceful, quiet, with hiking trails around and an incredibly fun pot luck party. Best Live Band EVER! Cannot wait to come back next year around same time! And they had Starlink internet that worked flawlessly. Train noise at night can be a bit annoying (I think I woke up twice, but it was quick). The hospitality, friendliness and ambiance of the Park and residents more than makes up for it. LOVED OUR STAY! See you soon again :))

We are wanderers. Since we hit the open road four years ago, we haven't stayed in one place for more than two months. We only spent one week here, but we felt like part of the community. If we ever decide to stop traveling, I think this will be where we settle. Now for the basics: There's a short paved road in the campground which has some potholes. Most of the roads are well-maintained gravel and dirt. The sites are roomy, level, and gravel & dirt. There's a picnic table but no fire ring. Some of the sites have trees. All of the buildings are clean. The laundry has four washers ($1.25) and four dryers ($1.00 for 60 minutes). The campground has lots of activities, including water aerobics. The clubhouse is nice and has an area that has a computer which is available for your use, a book exchange, and a comfortable sofa to sit and read or converse with another guest. We were there on Halloween and attended the party. We had a wonderful time. There was a band and dancing and everyone brought snacks to share. The best part though is that everyone treats you like you've been friends for years. Tip: Although Tombstone has touristy things like gunfight reenactments, it also emphasizes its true history. We thought we'd spend a couple of hours there, we ended up spending the whole day and going back once more.

We stayed for a month at Pato Blanco. It is a really nice place to stay. Not only was the staff friendly and helpful, but so were the other campers. The park is not fancy, but it is very charming, clean and well run, and there were fish in the pond. We highly recommended this park. We would definitely stay at here again.
