Linda has been an absolute god send to my family. 6 of my family's fur babies have been through training and boarding with her, one of which was extremely troubled and needed lots of care - she came back and is now our best dog and a wonderful addition to our family! I genuinely cannot imagine getting through puppyhood and being a dog parent in general without the care and love provided by Patience. I have recommended their services to multiple friends and will continue to do so. Thank you Linda for all you do!Not sure I can accept Donna's review as anything other than spiteful and unrelated. Please ignore. Also - Linda doesn't require her clients to provide "an expensive cage" or any cage whatsoever (she provides them). Donna - you may be confused.

If this is really the Patience Dog Training site, they don't deliver food to people or dogs. However after $900 And 5 weeks away for my very bright 6 month old Maltese thoroughbred learned: to respond to only one command "Stay" the one I taught him BEFORE HE LEFT FOR TRAINING! He will not heel, doesn't know the command."down" or any other command. We are now in a 6 week one hour training for $119 and he is learning a lot. Using Patience was the worst investment I have ever made. Maltese are very bright dogs. They aren't hard to train. My daughter trained her own Maltese.

Linda is amazing. We have sent three of dogs and countless friends to her. My dog Truman was very skiddish and now he is a totally different dog. They go to Linda for four weeks and they come back super dogs. They can't graduate until they can do a down-stay for 45 min. The best thing is that they learn to heel on leash so walking the dogs is a breeze. Also when you are out of town, she will board only dogs that she trains for $18/day. Our dogs love going out there and as soon as they realize we're going to Auntie Linda's, they can't wait to get out of the car. She reinforces the training when we board them and they enjoy lots of fun stuff on the ranch including splash time in the baby pool. We love Linda and think Patience Dog Training is the best thing that ever happened to our babies!

My sweet Fiona walked through life nervous and paranoid all the time. It was heartbreaking to see her this way. She would not allow other humans to touch her, and was a shivering mess if anyone came near her. She was also afraid of objects on the side of the road like trash bins, & for sale signs in yards also gave her pause. She came to us as a rescue at age 2 months and she has been adored by us since day one. I traveled from TEXAS to have my pup helped by Linda - Patience Professional Dog Training - and although the getting Fiona to and from were long adventures, I would do it all over again. The change in her is fantastic!! She is so calm, not allowing the external environment to dictate her emotions. She is more confident than I have ever seen her. I cannot say enough good things about Linda and her training. She is first and foremost an advocate for dogs and their emotional well-being, and THEN about their humans. I'll take that approach every time. We are amazed with Fiona's transformation, we've been home for less than 24 hours after a 2 day trip, during which there were many opportunities to put her training to use. My confidence in Fiona and hers in me is growing exponentially every hour. I'm so happy for Fiona and glad that she spent 7 weeks with Patience Professional Dog Training. You cannot go wrong trusting your dog with Linda.

Cannot recommend Patience/Linda enough! My two heeler mix puppies are high energy (of course) and litter mates (adds it's own challenges) and Linda is the reason I now have two 1.5 year old dogs who heel, can be trusted off leash, and are well socialized. She goes above and beyond and is always there for her clients. I have always reached out with questions and taken additional lessons post training and it makes all the difference. Not to mention my dogs love her- they start wagging their tails and crying with excitement once we turn on to her street! Couldn't ask for a better training and boarding combo!

This woman is no more a dog trainer than I am a brain surgeon! She kept my purebredMaltese puppy for 4 weeks, wanted $1000.00 IN ADVANCE (for good reason as it turned out). Then she needed to keep him an extra week! When she returned him he could "sit" and "stay" which I had successfully trained him to do before she took him!He could not even respond to "DOWN" or "No".or even heel, which I really needed to be able to walk him I later realized that he spent the whole 5 weeks cooped up in a small crate!!! WITH ANOTHER DOG! There were 3 big dogs there to be trained & she may have spent all her time on them, I don't know. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THIS WOMAN ANY ANIMAL TO TRAIN OR EVEN BOARD! Trust me, I'm not some crazy, but a successful professional woman, former Professor and University Dean. When I called her to discuss my dog's lack of training, she brought a "torture" metal collar with sharp pointy things on it, for ME to use to train him myself! if any caring person would ever have used such a thing other than to make a dog really mean! Consider yourself warned. Do not use this woman/service to even board your dog. She is not a humane person or a competent trainer but a money grubbing fraud.3 years later on, I feel the same way as in my original statement, possibly more so.

I am surprised that I didn't take a moment out of my life to write a review for Patience Dog Training....until perusing Yelp and seeing the review that Donna has consistently posted and reposted did I decide to get some things straight.Donna - what the hell are you talking about??? It is clear to me that you are somewhat confused, very angry (maybe crazy too) - if your dog was stolen by Linda at Patience, call the police girl and get that taken care of!!!!! But...you can't.Because that never happened.Linda has trained 3 of my dogs. The first dog Linda trained for me was adopted from a terrible situation and she was abused, scared, and unable to function within our home. I was sure I could do it myself as but soon learned that there was no way I could handle the insecurities of this pooch. I called Linda and dropped Layla off for 4 weeks of boot camp. Layla is now amazing. Her insecurities are gone, she is a willing participant for good behavior, knows her commands and brings so much joy to our lives. I had to take Luca next for some training as Layla was making my favorite chubby lab look like a slug as he ignored my repeated requests to "come here". Luca too completed his basic training and we came out of it together for the better.I had several years of enjoying the dogs and then went through a rough patch in life and adopted a puppy to fulfill my empty nest. Remy went at 16 weeks when his shots were up to date and he was neutered. His 4 week stint, followed by a few private lessons to train me to handle him has resulted in a good dog.Linda has a way with dogs. They respect her and she teaches you to earn the respect of your dog. She educates you on dog behaviors, what is required to be a dog owner and gives you skills to successfully use at home so that your dog is a well behaved part of your family and not behaving in manners that cause stress in the home.I have friends and family that have dropped their dogs for training with Linda and I have always been thanked for the recommendation - clean facility, well run and Linda is amazing. This I know. I have gotten to know Linda over the 10+ years we have worked with my dogs and I must say Donna, you are so wrong. I don't know the woman, nor the facility you are referring to in your review. It's not Linda. Besides, she doesn't require you purchase a cage for your dog......so maybe this confirms your confusion????People, if you have bad dogs and actually want to work with your dogs and help make their lives better with solid training, take them to Patience Dog Training.
