We had the good fortune of visiting Passagio this last weekend for our anniversary. Years ago when this was Primo we had our 1 year anniversary there and a few others. It was one of our favorite places in Tucson. This year as a reconnection to those prior anniversaries we decided to try Passagio, and it exceeded our expectations.First, we were very lucky to find ourselves at the same table of our first anniversary. While we did pay the $20 to make sure we had a window seat, we did not know which one we would get and we got "our corner". The extra cost was worth it to us for a special events. The decor is now more Italian than French, but just as relaxed and elegant. The staff were amazing. Our waitress, Maria, was extraordinary. She was excited that we were having our anniversary there and was gracious and celebratory. She actually had several tables with special events and she treated everyone with the same joy and dedication. We even took pictures with different groups of us.The food also held up to our expectations. We had the bruschetta to start. All were delicious but we loved the pear and Gorgonzola. It was sweet and tart.Next we had a Kale salad and a Beet Salad. Again, the preparation for each was perfect. The kale was prepared correctly so it was easy to eat and the beets were fresh. The flavors were well balanced, nothing was over dressed, you could taste the actual salad, and everything was fresh. For the main course we had the Venison and the Scollop pasta. The venison melted in your mouth and the herbs and greens brought a freshness to the dish. Squid ink pasta can get chewy and rubbery as can Scollops. Both were wonderfully prepared. The scollops also melted in our mouths and the pasta was perfectly aldente and paired nicely with the scollops. Finally, we shared the hazelnut and chocolate desert with caramel gelato. I am not a big fan of chocolate so I loved the added hazelnut and the caramel gelato was something I could not stop eating. Just enough salt to make you want more. My spouse loves chocolate and found it a celebration of chocolate. For drinks, they had a nice selection of Scotch which is our go to drink. The wine list paired nicely with the meal, and I tried their version of an old fashioned which was perfectly balanced and beautiful tonlooOverall, the meal, the service, the ambiance were all excellent. The chef and team have done an excellent job of establishing themselves as a well respected fine dining addition to the Tucson scene.

Great Mediterranean steakhouse inside the JW Marriott Star Pass. Wanted pizza for dinner but their brick oven was broken so opted for their rib eye. Oh La La!! Well seasoned and the truffle butter added a nice enhancement. And the star of the night was their Caesar salad with anchovies. It was simple but the anchovy elevated it. Overall it was a nice dining experience and will definitely come back!

do yourself a favor and be sure to come to this restaurant. talk about feeling elegant and classy - this restaurant is one of a kind. although we came here just for a late night dessert, i can't wait to come back to tucson and try the other food. from the ambiance, to the kitchen views, and smells - it's fantastic. my boyfriend and i ordered the tiramisu and the raspberry lemon cake. the raspberry lemon cake was the perfect spongy, moist texture and the mascarpone and ice cream only enhanced the flavor profile. the tiramisu was unique and different than previous tiramisu i've had; served in a beautiful glass, layered to perfection and topped with the most delicious cookie crumbles. highly recommend both desserts! our server was very kind and made the experience even better. we will be back for sure! thank you, passaggio!

Beautiful restaurant. Service was impeccable. I had the calamari and it was amazing. I am a food snob. So I know great food when it hits my pallet. My wife had the chicken Parmesan and she loved it. I had the Halibut and risotto and it was phenomenal. So fresh and perfectly cooked. This is hands down the best culinary experience I have ever had in Tucson Arizona. My hat is off to the Executive Chef. Bravo Sir.

Ok so dinner here is fantastic in every way!!!! If I could give 100 stars I would. We had the best dinner. The service was amazing. Even the chefs said goodbye as we exited. The Italian sparrow cocktail was beautiful and tasty. The gnocchi fantastic as well as the pepper and shrimp pasta dish. We ate outside on a small patio. It was absolutely fantastic. Dessert was a lemon raspberry cake with an out of this world gelato. Highly recommend this gem!

The food and service was good, pricey as to be expected at a JW resort. The only thing that was a real disappointment was the window seat reservation on OpenTable. To make a reservation you must pay a 20$ fee which is fair if we actually got the view we paid for. Instead we got half blocked view of a torn window curtain and a cactus with a light shining on it. The patio, pool, and city view was completely blocked from our table. Save your money on the reservation and walk in, you will get the same view if not better from a center table.

Three hours. From sit down to bringing the check. They weren't even busy. Server was nice but terrible. $37 for a cup of the ugliest, saltiest pasta dish. Pizza is great (and only $20) This is our second poor experience here. Definitely not worth the price tag.
