New owners took over in 2022, prices went up even higher and lower customer service/amenities. Used to get courtesy gate access after hours, no longer after new management. Used to have an app that opened the gate - nope, that's gone too. If there were more choices, we'd go elsewhere!

We have rented from Park Place since it opened and was convinced to move our very new rig over to Honeybee as we needed a larger space. Until the last year or so, we have always had good local service and local phone service related to our rent. Earlier this year, my card information was stolen - and it happened to be the card that was on file. My husband called them and gave them his contact information and card information. We continued to get "payment" declined" notices - even though each time I would call and tell them they had a new number. The number is no longer local but is a phone bank in Chicago. They still showed the old card as the card to use - we once again provided the new card information. Once again we received the payment declined letter stating we were 36 days past due and we were threatened with auctioning our rig. HOLY COW! After six years of faithful payments. My husband went to Park Place this morning to ask them to shred the OLD card info and gave them once again new card information. He was told we would get an email confirmation that this had finally been taken care of - no email has been received at this time. We are honest, solvent, space renters...but this has been a very frustrating experience. We hope that all is taken care of now. Waiting on the email confirmation.

They have a rodent issue, which is hard to mitigate here in the Desert, but our furniture we had in storage was gnawed, peed, and pooped on. Thousands of dollars of furniture ruined, and thousands of dollars of storage wasted.

I cannot say enough good things about this Locally Owned Small Business! Amazing Staff, gorgeous facility, more than fair pricing, and many available amenities: water, electric, 2 on site dump stations, trash, and on site storage units. Not to mention the top notch security system! I wouldn't trust my RV and trailer anywhere else!

UPDATE: Within hours of posting my initial review, management retaliated by notifying me that my lease was terminated and I was told to vacate. The notice stated that this was due to my "scathing review" and "abrasive phone call" (I hung up after the whole rigmarole of now having to pay them a fee along with the rent). This woman has shown Tucson the absurd lengths she will go to when a customer hurts her feelings. As other reviews (Yelp, Google, Glassdoor) will confirm, this was once a wonderful dignified business before the new management a year ago. She is apparently the daughter in this family business. Take note of the timeline of positive reviews before she took over....and don't miss the fake glowing review, also from 9-1-20, by someone personally connected to her. Such a shameful and crooked attempt to mislead consumers! Says a lot when a business feels the need to falsely influence reviews. This has undoubtedly become a spiteful, unethical, and unprofessional operation to say the least.

I have received top notch customer service from day one. The unit was cleaned and sprayed for bugs/critters prior to moving my property in. I love that the owners have security living on site and that they own the property across the street so the facility always has someone close by.

I started renting here a few months ago, all of a sudden I get a call that they don't have my credit card information and authorization to do my monthly payment. What happened to my folder? It had all of my personal information on there but no one seems to be able to answer. The lady manager is clueless. Pretty crazy how no one has reported them.

Very clean and well designed. Easy to get in and out of your space. Love that trickle charge is available for a reasonable fee. Nice and helpful staff. Well worth the extra storage fee to have my RV here vs the dirty small storage facility I've used in the past. I highly recommend Park Place RV Storage.
