Pancho's Auto Upholstery

Overall, I had a pretty easy experience with Pancho's. I sent emails of my damaged sofa and asked for a quote and repair time. I received prompt responses from Lety, which was appreciated, and told it would take about a week and that I could drop off my sofa any time during business hours. I dropped off my sofa, and at the time, Pancho was not there, so I left it with whoever was overlooking the shop. 11 days later, Lety emailed me to let me know my sofa was finished, and I also received a call from Pancho. I went to go pick it up a couple days later. Pancho was very friendly, and he charged me exactly what I'd been quoted. He let me know that they noticed some tears in the fabric underneath where the cushions go, so they went ahead and fixed that too. I thought it was great that they fixed a part of my sofa that I hadn't even asked for! Completely complimentary. After I got home, I inspected my sofa a little closer. It's clear that the material they used to replace my damaged side was a slightly different color and fabric than my original sofa. It's not as soft, and it had a different texture. The fabric they used as a replacement did have a subtle stain on it, and you can see that the fabric around the arm of the sofa wasn't fitted snuggling like it was before. So, while the process of coordinating and communicating with Pancho's was easy and they did do some complimentary repairs, the quality of the job I asked for was ok. Luckily, it was just a small side of my sofa that just needed to be repaired and not a large hugely visible section.

Pancho is dishonest. Beware. After assuring me for a month that he would finish a very simple job That he continually assured me he was happy to do and would only take a couple of days. After the fourth visit only to find he still doesn't have time.

Made an appointment to have my drivers side arm rest repaired. After 7 years it was shredded from all my driving. Nice customer service. They gave a quote prior to repair. Went in at 8am and was finished within an hour. Quick and well done, looks original.

Pancho's is so busy you need to makeAn appointment right away. He did a beautiful job replacing the crackedleather on my husband's 98 Lexis sports car.

Pancho's Upholstery shop is located in a sketchy part of town and the building is not the most impressive. Don't let that stop you from using their services though, as they do a solid job at reupholstery and reconditioning car seats, home furniture, and probably any kind of item that has fabric.Pancho and Lety are very accommodating and friendly. They were able to pick out a fabric that best matched my leather couch using vinyl (a much cheaper altnetative). Cost of upholstery was $150, cost of fabric was $35. He was done in 3 days. He made me feel very comfortable about leaving my furniture in his hands.It was only during pick up that I decided to drop some stars on this rating. The man at the counter didn't seem to know where my invoice or couch was. He was also very short with my boyfriend. Further, I was upset to find that they store your finished items in a back unpaved lot exposed to the elements, especially because it has been raining often these past few weeks.Overall the quality of the work was great. It didn't match exactly but certainly good enough for a common observer not to see the difference. Pancho and Lety are great, their other associates could use some guidance in customer service.

All I can say it was worth waiting for! The quality is unsurpassed. Nothing at all like I had. It was exactly what I wanted. I had the seats in my car redone . They put in new padding (foam). They are really new seats.It was a fair price, and the best in Tucson you can get. And most likely in Southern Arizona.Thank you Poncho and your lovely Wife.

Uncommunicative. Feigns language barrior. Questionable estimates. Receipts not provided during furniture drop-off or estimates. Quality of work lacking.

You get what you pay for. I spent a couple bucks more than I expected, but when I got the seats back I was blown away. I came in with wire frames out of a 65 Falcon that I had (crudely) welded back into shape. No padding, no insulation, no nothing. I got them back 4 weeks later looking better than anything Henry Ford ever sent out of Dearborn. With zero template to work with, the padding and covers were fabbed up from scratch. Stitching was perfectly clean and straight and the fabric was flawless. They clicked in perfectly and look better than anything else on the old beater. It's forced me to up my game and I'm not being funny when I say they probably doubled the value of the car! Spend the money with local custom shops like this. They're run by car lovers for car lovers. We have a 29 Model A seat in need of recovering soon and we're not even looking anywhere else, it's going to Pancho's without a doubt. Can't recommend them enough. ​
