Painting & Vino - Tucson

FUNNNNNNN!We did an event with them at Ironwood Pig Sanctuary and painted Starry Night Pigs. The instructor was so adorable and bubbly and she and her assistant were super attentive and walking around making sure each person was keeping up and had their necessary equipment.I definitely want to do it again to paint my pet. My pig was not very good but that's just my bad artistic ability, and those sweet people kept telling me it was cute

Painting and Vino provides an artistic experience for us non-artists. Instructors lead us step-by-step, offering tips, tricks, and advice as we paint.They partner with restaurants and bars and have everything set up for the event: canvas, easels, paint, and brushes at each seat. Servers come by to make sure we have enough wine. (Funny how our paintings look more beautiful after imbibing some wine !) This painting event was special; at Tandem American Eatery (excellent food - one of our favorites) and a fundraiser for PACC (a favorite charity).Turnout was great, with eighteen participants, and our instructor was cool, helpful, and funny. This was not my first paint and wine time, and I love that the painters are always friendly with their table mates, which really enhances the enjoyment. A plug for Tandem: My friend and I arrived early for dinner before painting. My wings were as big and tasty as they always are and my friend said her bacon blue cheeseburger burger was as delivious as I told her it would be. The burger comes with the most delicious house-made potato chips. My pal loved them.

I highly recommend Painting and Vino! I feel like I have enough time to complete my project, the instructors are patient and very helpful, and I have increased confidence in my painting skills. Four of us went to Painting & Vino that was held at the Black Iris. We had a great time and our paintings turned out a lot better than anticipated. Our only suggestion is to either plan to eat before or after. It would be difficult to attempt to eat food and keep up with the painting. Beverages are totally fine.... Thank you for a fun experience.

I came to class early found a seat spoke with the instructor and her assistant. There was no help individually I asked several times but to no avail, the helper just stayed on her phone.. there were 12 people so not too many to be overwhelmed. it wasn't till the last 5 minutes did the instructor asked if there was anything else I needed. what a waste of my time and money, we had more interest from the Waite staff than the instructo... don't do the paint your pet with Shay--

We did the activity where you send in your pets photo. They trace it and then help you to paint it. Was so fun and turned out really well. Instructors handled everyone doing something different with ease. It was really easy to get personalized help when needed. And plenty of colors to choose from! Highly recommend. And the hotel McCoy vendor was a cool location - great drink options as well as a fun vibe
