OV Pizza & Pints

Well I don't know what happened and maybe it's just a fluke but this time our visit could have been a lot better. Granted they were busy, however we sat down and it was almost 10 minutes before anyone came to our table. Others who came in after us got served before us so that's not good. The food was just as good as the last time. Our "waitress" only came to our table twice until it was time to pay, another employee brought us our food. Our food came out after others who ordered after us. One good thing is the person in charge came over to talk to us and we told him our concerns which was much appreciated. We live here in OV and are not snowbirds so our patronage is needed to keep places here open when its not winter.

I had the chance to sample OV's pizza, and I won't pass up the opportunity to indulge in it again. It's absolute perfection--the crust , and the toppings are both delectable and plentiful. Alongside the pizza, we savored boneless wings and a delightful caprese salad, all of which I would reorder. I'm eagerly anticipating my next visit to OV.4/26/24

Empty restaurant except for one table that already had their food. Took almost 20 minutes to get a my drink. Appetizers came out 10 minutes after a very plain so called Italian sandwich. Appetizers tasted like they came from the frozen section of a grocery store. Will not go back nor do I recommend this place to anyone unless they are craving middle school cafeteria food. One star for the good selection of beer.

Formerly ZPizza, this Oro Valley restaurant is convenient and serves great pizza. They even have slices on offer if you don't need a whole pie. Flavors were great. Lots of variety. We did take out but service was cheerful and efficient at the pick up counter. With their new branding to include PINTS it does look like they have a lot of beers on tap so worth a visit to sit down and eat if beer is your thing. The interior looked clean and well kept. Nothing fancy, just a local place to grab a pizza and a brewski.

In my opinion having lunch there is better due to the chef oppose to having dinner. The days that I was there in the evening the pizza came out dry and over cooked. The small pizzas are delicious with lots of flavor and toppings at lunch time.

My whole review is based off the cashier trying to charge me $5 more than the menu price. If you advertise a calzone with a protein and veggie INCLUDED then you try to charge me $5 for the two included toppings so I bring up the fact that your menu states something different and you don't honor it you just give me an excuse saying you haven't changed it on the menu. I just said cancel it and forget it. I'm not interested in supporting a business who has shady pricing.

If you love gluten, I mean if you really love gluten..this is your spot! I know this is a pizza joint.. lol The dough just has a serious amount of gluten.. The ranch or mayo water had 11/2 on the top of the container. Was that the expiration or when it was packaged? Either way, not ranch. Always like to try a variety of things at a new place I'm trying. Strawberry Margarita, Barrio Blonde Beer, Brussel Sprouts, Garlic Fries, Wings, Garlic Chicken Pizza. The wings star of the show by far. Spicy Honey . They were big, crispy, cooked very well. The fries were like broken fries or quarter cuts of an actual french fry.. Nothing garlicky or even tasty about this experience. Prices on point just expect the least amount of flavor. Service great. Nice atmosphere! Every single person made sure we had everything we needed. #supportlocalEdit. There was not an actual problem with food. Nothing needs to be fixed. It's just not a place I'd go for pizza. Our pizza was doughy and had a taste of uncooked flour.. We still had flour on the bottom. Would go back for wings..but not for pizza or drinks.

There's a lot to love here! Gluten free options, vegan options, build you own pizza, fresh salads, loads of beer, etc. Our pizzas and salads were good, a solid three stars. I'd eat here again, but I wouldn't drive out of my way for it. The staff was friendly. The restaurant was laid back and family friendly. Next time I'd prefer to eat at the restaurant and enjoy everything right out of the pizza oven. Take out advisory: I'd advise against getting avocados on your pizza if you're ordering take out. All of avocado on the pizza was brown and gross appearing because of the heat and waiting on us. It was NOT zpizzas fault, but just a cautionary tale if you're a visual eater.

As I savored Z Pizza's vegan options, I found myself enraptured by their poetic justice. I was struck by the way in which these pizzas embodied the very essence of life itself: the interplay of sweet and spicy, of softness and crunch, of tanginess and depth. And all of it accomplished through the simple, elemental power of plants.The Sweet and Spicy Pineapple Vegan Pizza, for instance, was a study in contrasts. The chipotle marinara sauce had a smoky depth that contrasted beautifully with the sweetness of the pineapple. The vegan mozzarella cheese, creamy and rich, mingled with the spiciness of the jalapeno and the red onion's piquant bite. And the vegan sausage crumble, with its subtle blend of herbs and spices, offered a satisfying chewiness that held all the flavors together.But it was the Berkeley Vegan Pizza that truly captured my imagination. The fresh, earthy mushrooms and the bright, juicy Roma tomatoes seemed to dance across my palate, while the crispness of the bell peppers added a playful note. And the vegan cheese! Oh, the creaminess and tang of it, as it melted and mingled with the other ingredients.

Yummy arugula and avocado salad, Cobb salad was great. Pizza was amazing! We ordered pepperoni & spinach, bacon and artichoke. Our favorite appetizer was the Brussel sprouts which were crunchy and so amazing! They have great service, it is kid friendly, and have happy hour specials every day! Wonderful and relaxed ambiance. So lucky to have this in our community.
