Owner made me feel very uncomfortable... plus with everything coming to light right now, I will not be going back

One of my favorite stores in Tucson! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and you can find all the cool anime merch here at affordable prices. 10/10 for me

I had a wonderful time and am very happy to have an anime merch/game store in tucson. The cashier was so helpful and kind. The store was a bit low in merchandise due to the sudden craze but I'll still come back since this store is amazing. Plus it supports local artists by purchasing their items, such as stickers. Plus there's a cute guardian doggo so why not.

Pretty new to Arizona. Came from Southern California which hosts Frank and Sons ( for those who do not know what that is, it is a huge warehouse of anime, collection, card vendors). Used to go there quite often to get anime figures and cards and was quite nervous moving to Tucson, until I walked into Otaku Nation. My first visit was last week, but within one week, I have visited 5 times and brought over 5 other individuals that have the same passion I have. The first day I walked in, I was greeted by the owner. It is not every store that the owner puts what he is doing down, stands up, to greet you, and ask you what you're looking for. Jeremy ( sorry if I spelled it wrong), proceeded to develop a personal relationship with me and that is the community we need to encourage. Everyday that I have gone to this store, I have walked away with something. I'm hoping we can make this small shop into something bigger, a community that drives and supports each other. I was able to get my first Digimon TCG box here for a steal compared to what other places are marking them up for. The reason for the low pricse was probably reinforced by the idea of building a group of people that will entertain playing Digimon in this store rather than making a profit. For some of these wonderful core values that this owner has, I will come by week after week to promote this store. Thank you Otaku Nation.

Official tournaments were not properly conducted, prizing of Championship series were not distributed fairly, to even the winners, and, events for TCGs were often held in different formats than instructed (i.e. held in draft instead of sealed)In terms of having a good experience for games i enjoyed, it made it difficult to enjoy here as the spirit of the games didn't feel like it was being supported in good will.

Shop started off very strong, but soon tapered off. Very little inventory moving through the shop. Store feels empty with very little to browse. My biggest flaw with the shop comes from the owner himself. He takes very little notice to a security issue. My friends have had items stolen from them and when asked about camera's he states they are not a priority business wise. I don't feel safe leaving my valuable cards outside of eyesight.The shop is heading in the right direction until I have heard about better security and a staff that cares about the customer. I will be taking my business else where.Update: revising my review as after two years the shop has been at a steady incline. The shop owner has been known to actively steal promos from his player base and removes promotional material from items and repackage and sell at full price. It's unfortunate that this is the only anime shop in town with a dishonest man running the business
