Oro Valley Surgical Suites

This was my first time at the Oro Valley Surgical Center LLC and I am very impressed with the quality of service and care. My dad was scheduled to have surgery at this location and from the moment I walked in we were greeted by the front desk. After speaking to the receptionist my son and I were allowed to visit my dad before he went into surgery. The staff were incredibly friendly and my dad seemed at ease and comfortable with his surgery. Dr. Zieller was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. He seemed to truly care about my dad not just from a medical perspective but also from a human perspective. I would absolutely recommend this facility and the doctors within. The quality of care is wonderful and they kept us informed all along the way about the surgery.

I just had a microdiscectomy by Dr. Putty at the Oro Valley Surgical Suites and everything went so well. The staff is incredible from check-in, to pre-op, surgery, and recovery. I was treated with respect and consideration! I highly recommend having your surgery at the Oro Valley Surgical Suites.

Beware that insurance billing is "out of network". Despite calling billing, office manager and my dr. my claim is still not resolved after 90 days. I was not told it was out of network. They state it will be treated as in network but I have yet to see it. At intake I was treated like a pin cushion by a nurse that could not find a vein administering an iv. I need additional surgery and have notified my surgeon that I won't be using Oro Valley Surgical Suites. I will be glad to amend my review if the billing is resolved. Who needs the extra stress and financial hassles when you're recovering from a surgery or sickness!? March 2020, billing still unresolved.

AMAZING!!!! From start to finish the experience was amazing!!!! They were running a little behind and a nurse even came out to explain to me the situation, that never happens! The front desk girls were super sweet. Kevin that called me a couple days before surgery was very kind and compassionate. While in the back waiting on my surgery I noticed all the nurses working together and not one had the " not my patient" attitude. The anesthesiologist explained everything to me in great detail and even came back to make sure I hadn't thought of any questions. My EMG monitoring doctor was very thorough to explore he would be my voice while asleep for Dr. Scully. Marie, my OR nurse came to talk to me to let me know she'd be in the OR with me, and what was going to be happening once I was in there. I've had many surgeries and this was the most pleasant experience falling asleep, as the nurse rubbed my arms as I fell asleep which calms the nerves. It's the small things that show a little empathy that reassure the patient. Both pre op nurses Sara and Julia were so sweet and thorough, and seemed to really love their jobs and not be annoyed like you get at the larger hospitals. My post op nurse Ashley was the sweetest and didn't rush me out, she let me go at my own pace and was very helpful and even went over the discharge instructions with my husband for me. I highly recommend Oro Valley Surgical to everyone!!!!

The receptionist was very friendly and made check in easy. The nursing staff were very professional and caring. I highly recommend them.

The surgery center was a very positive experience with a group of caring professionals. The first person we met was Jessica at registration she greeted us with a warm and friendly smile ready. She was very polite and funny! The pre-op RN Doris was very calm and friendly I really liked her positive attitude. The operating room RN Lindsey was very pleasant and professional I really felt in good hands. Dr. Lawrence the anesthesiologist was a compassionate professional. He was very friendly and told me everything he was going to do. It was amazing how much the staff and Dr Lawrence kept us updated on everything that was happening and continued to check in on me throughout the recovery! The recovery RN Carla was super nice and went the extra mile to make me feel comfortable. This facility was very well organized and focused totally on the patient outcome. I would highly recommend this surgery center.Thank you Dr Bowers for making this happen and giving me a new lease on life. I am very grateful to you and your team!
