Just joined the Oro Valley and Arizona Sands Clubs. This small club has a luscious green, with mature landscaping. The staff is SUPER friendly and helpful. Dropped in for lunch and had a monster club sandwich that was among the best I've had in Tucson so far. Bread toasted perfect, bacon crisp, and produce was fresh. My server Nicole was outstanding as well. The entire staff is an absolute delight - adding charm that tops of members experiences. They greet many clients on a first name basis making everyone feel at home. This isn't a resort style country club. It's just a nice small laid-back establishment, full of delightful people, and a wonderful green well manicured golf course. If you're looking for a place to enjoy a nice meal, a great round of golf and just relax you have found your place.

ABOVE PAR! Wife and I have dined her a total of 4 visits. Sunday brunch, 2 dinners and 1 lunch. Service exceptional. Food quality exceptional. Big bar. Do not like the Clubcorp 20% service fee. After dues and higher prices plus tax and tip it is excessive. Applies to ALL Clubcorp properties not Oro Valley CG only.

Oro Valley CC is an outstanding golf venue; with the abysmal condition of The Preserve in Saddlebrooke, my friends & I are certainly glad the OVCC allows outsiders to play this fine venueScott and the staff in the Pro Shop are very friendly and accommodating as are everyone who works there!!We certainly plan to come more often than we've done in the past

This is a great place to tee it up.Betty and Jack in the pro shop are fine representatives of this club. The fairways are smooth, green, and manicured. The greens are fast and tricky. Everything here is neat and uncomplicated, this is a stress free zone and there are lots of happy golfers here. This is a classic parkland course built in 1959 and kept in pristine shape. The course designer has made it his mission to hide all the golf holeson this layout. There are lots of berms used to block approaches to greens. Dog legs are used frequently to keep flags hidden until the lastminute. Even on one par 3, berms are in front of the putting surface.Three of our shots wound up on the berm short of the green. While the front nine is flat, the second nine has elevation changesand a lot more up and down hills. This is a thoroughly enjoyable golf course to play.

I was lucky enough to eat at the outdoor barbecue this week and it was nicely done. The staff is family friendly. The newly refinished club house was gorgeous and the views of the back side of the Catalinas is unique.Dinner starts with a build your own salad bar with nice choices. The entree choices were prepared well, I had ribs which were good, the chicken was twice cooked and on the verge of being dry so would avoid that, the kielbasa and beef brisket were declared good by the others at the table. With dinner is a potato bar, steamed vegetables and baked beans. For dessert, cookies, brownies, ice cream and cobbler of the night. The choices may be simple but well done.

Great local golf course. Fairways and greens were well maintained. Views of the mountains were fantastic. The food and drinks at the restaurant or good as well.

This review is of the bar/restaurant. I would not recommend eating here. The staff does not wash their hands before returning to work... after using the toilet specifically. Witnessed with my own eyes.

Dinner was a real let down. The food tasted good, but not anywhere near good enough to justify the price. This restaurant just can't seem to decide what it wants to be: either fine dining or a casual bar atmosphere. It has elements of both and they don't mesh well. The menu is okay. There's nothing really exciting on there, but everything we ordered was good and attractively arranged. The prices are just way too high for just a simple sandwich/burger place. The room is nicely decorated, but with nothing at all to absorb sound. The dining room was less than half-full when we were there, and it was incredibly loud. Nobody was being obnoxious or anything, but the openness of the room allowed voices to carry and bounce off the walls. It was very unpleasant. The waitress even had trouble hearing us. There's a bar in the room, where most of the noise was coming from. There are TVs everywhere, (muted, thankfully) even in the outdoor seating area. There's really no escape from them, which makes it seem like a sports bar, rather than an elegant dining experience. Overall, it was an okay place. If they had lower prices and hadn't advertised themselves as an upscale restaurant, we would have enjoyed it much more.

Husband and I ate an early dinner at Landon's Grill at the Oro Valley Country Club. The manager was very accommodating as we were "between" lunch and dinner. I had the Club Sandwich, which was delicious. My husband had the Birdie Wrap which was also delicious. Wine selection was great. Staff was friendly and efficient.
