Before renting a bike I shopped around and checked reviews because I knew I'd have it for a while. Oro Valley Bikes are so well regarded in the area I almost bypassed them because I assumed they'd be out of my price range. But after checking their reviews (which were excellent) I called for an estimate and they were actually the best priced outfitters in the area. They answered back right away and were very easy to work with from start to finish. Any issues or questions I had were answered within minutes. The bike itself was in good shape with a comfortable saddle. I highly appreciated the puncture resistant tires which make a huge difference in this desert area full of thorns and stickers. I was still careful where I rode but I wasn't constantly paranoid I'd get a flat. Those tires and inner tubes offer serious peace of mind. The only things I wished for were a bell (especially useful on the Loop), and maybe ergonomic handlebar grips. But these were minuscule issues. I had the bike almost three months and everything was perfect.
