Prompt and professional service. My car had a stuck shifter and needed to be towed in. I called OVA and set it up. The whole experience was as smooth as can be. The job was finished as promised. Jeremy was a pleasure to work with. We recently moved to the area and I think we found our local auto repair shop!

Damage my car and was told oh well file a insurance claim! They said we don't fix that and there's nothing they can do

Brought a vehicle in for an alignment; and planned to leave it all day since they were busy. They called in two hours with my vehicle completed. Did a great job and the staff was friendly and easy to talk to. I will return if I'm in the need for future automotive work.

The guy who answered the phone was rude. I explained the problem I was having and he was more interested in trying to gouge me with extra fees instead of providing an honest service. Disappointing.

Jeremie is a very honest mechanic. I went in for an alternator but Jeremie found I only needed a belt. He could have changed the alternator and charged me but he was honest and only changed the broken belt! Thank you Jeremie I will be back again and give your name to friends!

I took my 2010 Lexus RX350 in for a simple oil change and took my own Mobil 1 Full Synthetic and a high quality K&N filter, thinking it wouldn't cost more than $30 to change it and maybe 20 minutes because that's what a shop in Catalina quoted, but boy was I wrong. He told me it would take about a half hour to finish, so I thought ok, and I walked up to Fry's, had a coffee and came back 40 minutes later and it still wasn't done. Total time elapsed: 1 hour and 10 minutes before it was finished.But that wasn't the worst of it. He handed me a bill for nearly $50 for what takes any reasonable mechanic less than 15 minutes to do and after I provided my own oil. Then he tells me I need new front brakes, which I already knew, and handed me a quote of $250 just to turn the rotors and put in new pads. So I researched it and found out I could get brand new OEM rotors and pads for less than $200 and I found an honest mechanic who l installs them for less than $80. In the end I have much better quality and longer lasting brakes for only $30 more. I wouldn't have gone back there anyway just because of the ridiculous cost of changing the oil, but the brakes were the icing on the cake.

This is the second time I've used OV Auto. Finally, an Honest mechanic that doesn't recommend replacing everything, instead they diagnose the issue and fix the problem at a fraction of the dealership or other auto shops up the street. I'd highly recommend them.

I called recently with some vague questions going something like "my car is making this sound, do you think it could be this?" And the very helpful gentleman who's name I forgot to get, very thoroughly and kindly suggested a few issues that may be causing it and the symptoms they would cause, including advising me to first simply check for rocks stuck in the dust shield, as that can make lots of noise. Low and behold that's all it was and we avoided an expensive repair. Thank you so much for taking the time on the phone to simply walk us through logical steps and possibilities, with such kindness and knowledge. Appreciate this shop !!!
