We were traveling from out of state. My father-in-law took a spill at the airport. His prescription eye glasses were damaged in the fall. The other nationwide eye glass place in mall wouldn't touch them. They said they could not fix them because of liability. I came across Optical Image and asked if they could help. The Doctor took the glasses to the back and fixed them, in no time at all! A huge thank you for helping us out. Two thumbs up!

I specifically asked for progressive lenses to go in a pair of frames purchased there a few years ago. I told the Dr. I needed no Rx on the top and readers on the bottom. When I received the glasses the right eye was blurry and I noticed they tacked an extra $245.00 for an anti reflective coating. I was never asked nor approved this coating. Got the run around when I asked the coating to be removed and refund the $245.00. They would only do a store credit. Beware of Dr. Weisman's coating scam. Will never do business here again!

I've come here the last 3 years. Dr Weisman is amazing. The service of the sales staff is hit and miss and the prices are pretty high (free frames with insurance not name brand, those lenses and lenses on an existing pair with computer tint cost OVER $500). I've continued coming because the Dr is awesome. But based on my most recent experience (getting run around with my pick up and then blamed because they called a number from 3 years ago not my updated number) and referrals to other places I think next year will have to be a new adventure.1 Star- Total failure of an experience based on this experience would not return. Would not recommend.2 Star- Below average on several levels, not a total failure. Wouldn't seek out to return or recommend.3 Star- Average experience, minimum expectations met. Nothing that says wow or that stands out. Would return if someone else wanted to come, not a regular go to.4 Star- Above average experience, will come here again and recommend to friends and family.5 Star- This will be a regular go to and will be highly recommended to people I know. Exceeds expectations on a consistent basis.

The doctor was the BEST!!!!! I don't think I ever laughed so hard at an eye exam, he was extremely plesant. The selection for the frames at my disposal was far and few between. I even considered getting versache because she suggested them, but we were very pressured once she brought them out. I kept speaking to my husband about my opinion and she kept interjecting and trying to sell me after that. She made me feel like I didn't have a choice on the frames, taking my business else where or what kind of lenses I wanted. We finally escaped and thank heaven we did. Almost ended up spending $350 and that's with insurance.

I had SO many problems in my experiences with this business. As stated by another user, Dr. Weisman is a very nice man.His staff is HORRIBLE. I don't know how he tolerates their incompetency. Our first visit was fine - not remarkable in any way - just to get new prescriptions. Then my trial contacts came in (after about two weeks). I brought them home and not only did they not fit my eye, they were the wrong prescription (I couldn't see anything). I went back in for another eye exam and had to wait again for more trials (another two weeks). Got the trials and this time things were right. I called to make sure that they ordered the rest of my contacts (that I had already paid for) and had to wait yet again to get those in - but this was after speaking to several people at OI who couldn't understand that the original prescription was completely wrong. I ended up having to talk to the girl who was at the business the very first time I went in who remembered me. No one else seemed at all willing to figure out what was going on. This, again, took time. Then I had to schedule a followup. It was scheduled for a Monday so I drove across town for the appointment only to find out that it wasn't in their books. But I had been in there when the appointment was initially made and ensured that I had marked it correctly in my google calendar (my daughter also made the appointment in her calendar so it was verified). We rescheduled for two days later and went home. The very next day I got a call saying that my appointment was canceled (because of standing meetings the doctor had every Wednesday). I was offered a following Sunday appointment which I couldn't take so I was told that an alternate date would be figured out and she would call me back. About two hours later I got a call from a completely different person confirming my appointment for Wednesday (the supposedly canceled appointment). I was confused and explained my previous conversation and was told very snidely that my appointment was Wednesday. Ugh.So, we went to the followup appointment today. We saw the doctor (two of us) for about five minutes each. After wards, thinking we were done, we got ready to leave when I was told I would have to pay for the followup. I had previously been told that I was all settled up for everything, including the followup. The clerk today was an absolute jerk and adamant that he couldn't account for anyone else's mistakes regarding my bill. I requested copies of our prescriptions and will NEVER go back.I've already given this business a lot of my time and money, mistakenly. I HIGHLY recommend that you look elsewhere when seeking any type of eye care. You will be disregarded here and treated poorly. Ultimately I'm upset that I gave business to people who obviously don't care about their customers in any way. If you want professional, reliable, committed eye care - GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

I really want to recommend optical eyewear. Contrary to other accounts of this business, I had positive experiences with the staff. They were always nice, never pretentious. However, both times I've scheduled appointments, I've waited more than 30 minutes past the scheduled appointment to be seen by the optometrist. He's a nice guy, but I waited an hour to be seen this first time I went. It was my fault for waiting and going back, but I wanted to give them another shot.I cannot recommend a business that shows this kind of disregard for its customers' time, and I cannot give a two star rating because this isn't a "meh" kind of problem. I won't be returning.

Dr. weisman apparently only does Exams. Staff was busy and he couldn't take 30 seconds to give/sell me a nose piece. Guys not very friendly. Bought 4 pairs of glasses from him over the years. Lost my business

I have been a patient of Dr. Weisman for about 6-7 years. At the Park Place practice location, the team there has been consistent the entire time! That type of employee retention is almost unheard of - and personally, I like seeing the same people year after year. That, to me, builds loyalty and better patient care.I had an eye injury last year, and was seen SO QUICKLY after I called to request an appointment. The staff and Dr. were all over it! And, they took the concerns away due to their testing, clinical skills, and customer care. The quality of the eyeglasses themselves - the lenses - are paramount to me. The staff has met and exceeded my expectations with the clinical expertise, ability to have the lens I need to have while working with insurance coverages, and financially they know what I can afford and honor that - regardless of the wide variety of brands Optical Images carries. While Dr. Weisman's practices are in malls, to me it's as if I'm going to a private office for a visit. While competition exists in each Mall, I would not give up the stability of a private practice, diminish/lower the lens quality and add-ons that I need to have, or change things up for a big name national chain...it's not worth it for me. The "cost" for me is the lens, not the frames - which is what we need for eyesight; yet I appreciate the "Jewelry" mentality for those who feel it's important to them.I recommend Optical Images for these reasons...the integrity, quality, professionalism, and hard to match patient care is what brings me back year after year!Thank you Dr. Weisman and Team - I feel appreciated and valued by each of you - all of you - and look forward to getting my new glasses next week! Lastly, thank you for base-lining my eyes and vision post-accident, and being 100% on your game to be sure my eyesight is THE BEST that it can be! I'm digging the 20-15 vision you were able to get me to for all 3 degrees of my tri-progressive, no line, glasses!!!! Doctor, you're a miracle worker!!!!ALK
