OOROO Auto - Oro Valley

Had my truck at a local shop for a radiator issue and was told that I needed brakes and rotors all the way around. The quote was $1100, which is waaaay too much for such a simple job. I saw a commercial for Ooroo, which was strange, since I usually turn channels when a commercial comes on. I did some research and found that people were generally happy with Ooroo. I asked for a quote online and received a call the next day. I was quoted for "a worst case scenario" where all brake pads and rotors would need to be replaced. They gave me a reasonable quote and I made the appointment. I took my truck in and a few hours later, I received a call from the service writer. BOOM! I only needed pads and rotors on the front! They did the repair and I was on my way. So happy I took a chance on this business, and I definitely will use them again for my auto service needs. I hear they have a mobile service and a shuttle service to get you home when dropping off your vehicle, but I didn't use either on this visit. But I'm sure it would be handy.

5 Stars for this auto-shop. My technician Dustin regularly kept in contact with me on the updates of my vehicle and previous repair history. My vehicle had a radiator leak they fixed on short notice. I mixed up the pickup date and the team was still able to accommodate me after hours. Thank you to the OOROO team for your professionalism!

I was having issues with my car stalling after rough idling. It happened multiple times before I brought my car into Ooroo but of course the issue didn't happen once it was brought in. However the team there did not give up on finding the problem. After a day they were able to identify an issue with the purge valve in the gas tank which was causing fuel to flood the engine leading to a stall. They ordered a new part from Kia tested it out and had it done the next day. The atmosphere is clean and has a good appearance...not like some auto shops where it's super dirty. The staff is very friendly and talked to me with words I could actually understand instead of a bunch of jargon which is what usually happens at auto shops. If I ever have a need for auto repair in the future I am definitely bringing my car to Ooroo!

I knew the thermostat in my 2018 XT5 Cadillac was going to need to be replaced. I knew from research that it would be a labor intensive repair ($$$) at the local dealership. One day it finally failed and I drove right to OOROO Oro Valley. The vehicle had to sit there for the weekend but I was assured that it would be parked inside (and it was !!!). First thing Monday morning I received a phone call with an accurate repair estimate for the job and gave the go ahead. Early Monday afternoon my vehicle was ready to be picked up. Although the bill for services was expensive I know for a fact that it was a lot less than I would have paid at the dealership and I most likely would have been waiting at the very least 3 or 4 more days for my vehicle. My XT5 is running flawlessly and I couldn't have asked for better service. I'll be back !!!

Be cautious if you are considering this shop's services. I no longer trust this shop's honesty or expertise based on my experience, despite all of the positive reviews.During a cross-state trip to visit my father, I had a highly disappointing experience with this mechanic. My car's check-engine light came on, and after a diagnosis from a reputable mechanic showing a need for a valve body and solenoid replacement, I was told they could not perform the work. I then contacted Ooroo, and hesitantly agreed to let them reassess the situation. They claimed the entire transmission needed replacement, quoting me an astronomical price of $10k (which is far more than the car's worth). Naturally, I declined. I paid them $142 for their time, arranged to pick up the car, and requested they not clear the codes. Unfortunately, when I received the car back, the codes had been cleared.The diagnostic paperwork I received simply said: "Technician Note: P2767 req new transmission. Tcc slipping. No point in doing a valve body on a transmission with 200k". That was it. Upon returning home, my regular technicians spent nearly a week re-diagnosing the vehicle because the memory had been erased. The same issue was found as in Arizona--code P2762 for the Lock-Up Duty Solenoid Malfunction. We proceeded with replacing the valve body and solenoid. Furthermore, feeling skeptical, I ordered a transmission service just to be certain everything was in good order. No more slipping, no more warning lights--the car drives well without any transmission issues.All totaled, with the valve body replacement and shipping the car home, I ended up paying just about the same amount that Ooroo's techs originally quoted me on the phone just to replace the valve body. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience.

I had an appointment for an oil change. Left the car at 8:00 a.m. and itwasn't ready until 5:00. I think this was excessive.And, the oil change cost me $91.42. This also being excessive.Question recommendations needed that they suggest...

the service persons were knowledgeable and very efficient at the repairs.The front desk checked me in promptly and kept me informed. The price was very fair.

Had to have work done on the Explorer I was nervous as it has 170,000 miles on it. But I've taken real good care of her with parts oil changes.... They do quality work & tell you exactly what's wrong. Had my car back in 8 hrs. Definitely recommend. M.
