Once Wild Salon

I did not have a good experience with this salon. Per the recommendation of some friends, I booked a free 15 min consultation at 11am. A few days later, the stylist posted that she had available space for a cut at 12:30pm that same day, and I decided to just got for it. I mentioned to her that I had the 11am consultation scheduled. I showed up at 11am, and after being ignored for 20 mins, asked what was going on. She came over and said that it was nice of me to show up for the consult, but I didn't need to, and she thought I knew that. With the strict cancellation policy on the site, I was afraid not to without confirmation. I came back at 12:30pm and showed the stylist three reference photos. We did discuss what she was going to do and she started cutting. To be clear, I'm not saying that it's a bad cut overall or that the stylist is untrained, but it was not what I had in mind. I paid the bill and went home. The next day, I sent a kind message to the stylist on IG just to provide her with some feedback about how it wasn't really what I had envisioned and I wasn't very comfortable with it. She became very defensive and sent me multiple messages double down on this being what we discussed and talking about her artistry. I replied to her, deciding against arguing, and said I guess there was really nothing that could be done and just wanted to provide feedback - I was left on read. This cut cost me over $100, which I agreed to at the time of the appointment, so it's a disappointment to not be happy with the cut, not have a solution because it's already cut shorter, and have a stylist that is so defensive.

I've been fortunate to be a client at Once Wild nearly since it opened with my favvvvv stylist Jenni! I love the aesthetic of the place, the friendly people, the comfy shampoo chairs and blankets, the bathroom mirror (perfect for some post style selfies), and lots of little extra shopping to do with all sorts of things from local suppliers. 10/10!!

Yessss! I love this salon! Great location, though parking can be difficult to find. I see Jenni and she is wonderful. She's reasonably priced, friendly, funny, experienced, and so talented. She has an eye for the best shag haircuts and is wonderful with color too. Highly recommend this salon!

I made an appointment for 3pm on Saturday December 16th. For just blow out and hot tool style. I tried to also book a cut and color with their "curly hair specialist" I called the number that hairstylist had on the website. For no answer or call back. So I just said fine maybe it's a sign I don't need to color my hair. I then try to get to my hair blow out appointment but my car broke down. I tried to call to let them know I wasn't going to make it for the Google time to show me THEY WERE CLOSED AND NO ONE ANSWERED THE PHONE. so you're telling me that if my car didn't break down I'd be standing outside waiting for someone to do my hair for my work Xmas party?! Just overall not great experience for someone who didn't even get to try the service. Just over all big yikes. I would not recommend this place at all. Seems like they are way in over their heads

I'm obsessed with this salon! The owner is one of the sweetest and most genuine humans you'll ever meet. You can tell she really values her stylists and making sure their needs are being met so they can meet your needs!I've been coming here for awhile now, following my stylist to the space and I'm always in awe of the beauty of the store as well as the quality of haircut I receive.I also really love that this salon makes their community as well as communities around the world feel seen in loved. We took part in a fundraiser where all of the stylists there came in on their day off to give haircuts to raise funds for the Maui fires. They also have community events where you can get tattoos, discounted haircuts, etc! I really love what Once Wild stands for and it's my pleasure to not only get my hair cut there but to bring my kids as well (who also see Lindsey) as my Husband (who sees Trinity)!

Sabrina is my stylist at this salon and I love her! She always listens to exactly what I want and delivers! The salon is so pretty and the stylists are friendly too. I would recommend Once Wild to anyone!!

The salon is so beautiful and inviting. The staff is very knowledgeable and do a great job. I would definitely recommend this salon. My hair turns out great every time.

The BEST salon in Tucson (& I've tried a handful)! Lindsey (the owner) has been doing my hair for years. I never know what to specifically ask for but I completely trust her to do her thing! Every time I'm in, she's teaching someone a new technique; she created a collaborative learning environment among an already incredibly experienced team. I think that's what sets them apart-- I'd feel comfortable working with any stylist!

Briana is the hairstylist I've been looking for! For starters this salon is a hidden gem, not only is the vibe cool and trendy, the employees were all very welcoming and friendly. I had an appointment with Briana and we instantly hit it off, she was knowledgeable and gave me the best recommendation for achieving the color I was looking for. I can not say enough about how much I enjoyed my experience at Once Wild Salon. I will be coming back guaranteed! I am absolutely in love with my hair...thanks to Briana!

Very cute and clean salon and really friendly staff. I had a wash and a cut and the service was great and quick. I enjoyed the vibe.I also bought some gorgeous framed art pieces that I love.
