I have found my Yoga home in northern Tucson. I live in Marana, so I don't have a lot of yoga studios near me. The studio is on Oracle near Orange Grove. I gave OM Yoga a try with a Saturday morning Hatha Yoga class. The environment and friendliness of the staff was welcoming and Oscar was a wonderful teacher. I learned Hatha back in the 70's when it was very meditative and mostly Asana stretches. Things have changed. The classes for the most part at OM Yoga are more up tempo and the music is more contemporary. That threw me at first, but I got used to it.I've taken a number of classes to find what works for me. I'm 70 years old and have been doing Yoga all my life, but I'm not as strong or flexible as I used to be. I was looking for beginner classes to get back in shape and work up from there. While I've been an avid runner, my core strength was lacking. I have found the classes to be challenging for core strength and balance, which is good. Anything with Oscar is great.I've also taken the Align and Restore class with Meghan. She is wonderful and this class is a bit easier and not as taxing. She will often incorporate the wall with poses in a way I've never seen. But it works. If you want a real workout, go to Vinyasa. Allie is the owner and his class is true kick ass. I was in over my head. This is Yoga/calisthenics in my opinion. It's great, if you're in shape and want your Yoga to be a workout.A new teacher at OM Yoga is Regina. She has a totally different approach which I loved. She uses a tennis ball, straps, and has a friendly and fun style. Hers was the first class I took where she used Ambient music. I loved it. No songs with lyrics, no upbeat tunes, just background soothing sounds that created a meditative atmosphere.I also took a class with Bri and I loved that she used all of the Hindu names for the Asanas. She's great too. In fact, I have found every single class and every single teacher to be wonderful. They have packages so you can get discounts if you buy ten classes at once. If you're looking for a Yoga Home in Tucson, give OM Yoga a try.

As much as i love aerial yoga, I do not like to be yelled at by the teacher because i put a a hand on the ground to protect me from falling because the pose i was doing was so intense and about to dislocate my pelvis on the trapeze.

Looking for a workout that will leave you feeling wrung out yet invigorated? Try OM's aerial yoga class. My friend and I tried the aerial yoga while I was in town visiting. It kicked my butt, I was glistening sweat, my muscles were straining, I got light headed, BUT had a blast with my friend. It was such a good time and workout. Our instructor, Alie, was funny. He was professional, safety first minded, pushed us, and laughed with us. Note, you are in a aerial hammock that rubs against your body. Wear a t-shirt to cover your armpits, remove any body jewelry and rings that could get caught against the fabric. BRING LOTS OF WATER! Next time I am in town we will definitely go back and give it another whirl!

Alie is hands down my favorite yoga (core strengthening?) teacher! Wish I lived in Tucson just to take his classes more often!

Their cost is much higher than other yoga places for no good reason. Two-for-one session deal for a newcomer is kinda scam as one must use it within 14 days. The location is out of way off the busy highway.

A friendly, safe, fun, and clean studio! I've taken three classes and all of them have been very different but engaging.I'm a beginner. These middle-aged moms walk in and make me look like a child. Somehow through all of this each instructor has eased me into each pose and helped me reach flexibility that I haven't felt before. One even uses essential oils which are insanely relaxing. The Starbucks and Target down the street complete the white woman trifecta after a hot yoga session. There are tons of day and night classes to choose from, I don't feel like I struggle to find times I like. However, It seems pretty vacant in here? I think it will pick up in the summer. It's $10 per class and they offer monthly/yearly rates. It includes all the mats, blocks, towels etc. you need at the studio itself! Overall, a fantastic experience. This studio has truly helps my anxiety and stress levels with each visit. I can't wait for my next class. Way to go OM!

Om Yoga has a fantastic studio and boutique. I enjoy the variety in the types of yoga classes offered, acro, aerial, yin, vinyasa and core are all classes that I practice at OM. The instructors are top notch, they help instill confidence in their students and keep me challenged as I advance in my yoga practice. The studio has a warm inviting feeling. The boutique has yoga gear, yoga clothes and products made my local artists. If you're a beginner or a lifetime yogi, OM has a class for you!

I have been a member of this studio for a bit over a year now, and I absolutely love it! The space is lovely, but more importantly the classes are challenging yet peaceful, the instructors are knowledgeable and creative, and there is an assortment of levels to choose from and workshops to engage in. I leave every class feeling recharged, both physically and mentally, and I find myself eager and excited to attend as many classes as possible in the week. A real first for me! I've dabbled with many studios in many cities and this is by far my fave.
