It appears to have changed hands & is now the Blue Whale, a family owned business. I was in dire need of an exterior wash for my rental Jeep Gladiator. It was covered in bugs from Joshua Tree, Palm Springs & the 6+ hr drive from PS to here. I could hardly see out the side windows.For $13 for the truck, it went thru the automatic wash & then was wiped down by hand & even tire shine applied! It looked better than when I picked it up from Enterprise in Phoenix 2 weeks ago!Extremely nice folks & super efficient. Definitely recommended!

Came here hoping to get my car nice & shiny the service was quick & staff informative & friendly The actual was in the car not so much there were water spots & areas that seem o not have had a drip of water touch, upside they did an awesome job with cleaning my windows,but for some reason my license place was bent during the process ??? Would I return... not anytime soon

A past Tucson resident, I have been MIA for a few years so I was a bit rusty on the car wash landscape in town but had driven by the Valencia Octopus location, noticed it was new and seemingly fairly well organized.After a road trip to Tubac and a few dusty roads, the car was in need of a de-bugging and good wash. I pulled into the bay at Octopus and was set for the experience of my life, shiny car ! The contact there was friendly enough but once we walked through the prices (YIKES) I opted for the standard service coming in at $13.99, thinking how bad can it be ? First let me say this is THE highest I have paid for a car wash, in other states and different drive thru services much lower fees. SO ... my bar was high.I watched the car making its way through the system and things looked fairly automated and covered most of the car. I typically grade the wash on 1) how clean my wheels are (AKA no brake dust post wash) 2) no bug guts on the front end & 3) dirt free and a good wipe down.The car came out of the wash bay and was moved over to the final prep area where 5 men attacked the job. I was a bit surprised how quickly they did the wipe down but assumed 10 hands must be wizards of wonder - wrong.Here is the skinny on the final product -Bug guts still on the front end (lucky me)Brake dust on the front wheels (how can you miss that ?)Dirt residue on the front windshield At the end of the day - if there was a zero rating the guys at Valencia location would win hands down. Skip this place and save yourself some $$ try ANYWHERE else and take a chance. Go here and you get a half of a car wash and the lovely opportunity to finish it yourself. Giddy up !

BEWARE...THE OCTOPUS FULL SERVICE WASH INCLUDES:1) Vacuuming of the passenger compartment, 2) Interior & exterior windows are cleaned, 3) General dusting of dash and center console, 4) Door jambs are wiped. Our "FULL SERVICE" car wash DID NOT include the cleaning of the interior windows, NO dusting of the dash or center console, and Door jams were NOT wiped down. Appears a "Full Service" car wash at the Valencia location in Tucson only includes the car to be run through the car wash and vacuumed. The person who was suppose to complete the service we paid for after wiping down the outside of the car only opened the driver's door and walked.

I took my car in to get outside and inside detailed. I was told by the attendant the $50 super clean would do the job well and I'd receive one free wash to use whenever. Came back to my car and noticed the dirt and leaves still under my windshield wipers, the 'shine' they used inside was oily and grimy and whoever vacuumed did a terrible job. I had to go to another car wash to redo everything. When I called to explain the issue the person who answered said I could use my one free car wash to get it cleaned correctly. I should have listened to other reviews because this place is terrible.

I took my truck i with bugs splattered on my windshield and hood... paid for the Ultimate Car Wash. When i was lead to the truck in the parking lot i walked by the tip box... mistakenly put in a large tip.. because once i got out to my truck i noticed the bugs were still on windshield and hood when i pointed them out to the attendant he quickly turned and walked away.. rather disappointed with $ i spent for the result that i was delivered.

I went to this carwash this morning because it was close to the side of town I was on. I had never been to this location before. As I pulled up, I was greeted within a minute or so by a guy named Andy. He asked me what he could help me with. I explained that I needed to have my car washed and vacuumed but that I didn't have time for a full detail wash. He suggested the ultimate car wash, gave me my ticket and sent me inside. Inside I talked to Manuelita. I let her know I had found a coupon online for an $8 ultimate wash and asked if I could use it. She advised that it needed to be printed so they can have a code but then said, she had another coupon there that she could use in place of it. She simply said if I want to use one in the future to print it. Not only did she still help me with a coupon but instead of $8 off she gave me 50% off! That was unexpected and an awesome surprise. When I got my car back, the guy who gave me my keys opened both our doors and had me look in my car to make sure everything was up to par. They did a great job outside and inside. I heard Manuelita call the manager Rick for something else so I walked up to him and let him know that I appreciated my experience. I think some of the reviews on here are slanted. You. Get. What. You. Pay. For. Remember that. If you're expecting a deep clean, you need to pay deep clean prices. Not $20 and expecting your car to look like it just rolled off the car lot.

I took my new car through the Octopus car wash on Valencia. Their equipment ripped the wheel well cover completely off of my car. They insisted it must have been loose to start with with, but that doesn't happen on a brand new car.. They found the piece under their conveyor belt But still refused to pay for any damages. I will never return.
